    I agree.

It's not been an easy start.

Is this the name of the thread? Really? After all the good suggestions (by which I mean mine)?

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 35,943 Mod ✭✭✭✭dr.bollocko

"The Black Eyed Peas are rock for people who don't like rock, rap for people who don't like rap and pop for people who don't like pop."

Quote from a us office episode I saw recently.

That's how I feel about your thread title suggestion.

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 35,943 Mod ✭✭✭✭dr.bollocko

And yes I know that makes no sense and I have so far sucked at thread titling.

    I've got it!

    It's actually good.

Unfortunately this is like one of those scenarios where you're choosing a restaurant on holiday.

If we went with the first good suggestion we'd have nothing to talk about all night.

What about greatest hits? That's what all my favourite albums are called for some reason.

    FINE!

Yesterday was the anniversary of the plane crash that killed Richie Valens, the big bopper and Buddy Holly.

Massively influential artist, who knows how influential he would have been if he had lived just a bit longer?

    The Rats @ The Marquee?

I dunno. Listened to interview on John Murray yesterday. Really, they should retire. It was painful to listen to.

Perhaps should rename the thread in my time of dying.

May's Classic Rock is just out, got a big feature on Led Zeppelin's Houses of the Holy. 40 years old
Took me a while to get into this album initially but grew on me eventually and I love it now. Fabulous intro to the album and I love Over the hills and far away.

Magazine also features articles on Dark side of the moon, Aladdin Sane (Bowie) and Mad Season (got this album a few months ago, great album).

No. Tickets available (standing) right now.

I wasn't able to get standing tickets before, Ticketmaster don't seem to really be master of anything, let alone tickets.
