2 starters from Rafael, Sterling, and Shawcross?? Thinking of starting Rafael, United's clean sheet record at the Etihad is actually good, just a bit worried if he doesn't start and comes on as a late sub for a 1 pointer

    I'd bench Rafael.

After much humming and hawing I've just pulled the trigger on the Bale to Dempsey 4 point hit, it pretty much guarantees me a full 11,

    I'll be dead a long time:cool:

Michu, Fellaini and probably Sessegnon because of the DGW.

Sterling is the safer option IMO. Can't depend on Fulham to keep a clean sheet.

Brought Sess in for Bale on a free transfer. Still have 1 FT left so it's just a one week punt at no loss really. I was losing a transfer regardless. Switched before Bale fell and Sess will net me .1 mil. Thinking of captaining him too. Tomorrow will be my first time using a 3-5-2 this season.

Bought in Le Fondre and captained him for the hell of it. Had 2 transfers and needed to get rid of ba. If it doesnt work out, ship him out for free again next week.

None of my subs can play so at least I can't get stung this week by poor selection of my first eleven.

The captain choices of the top 5 in my ML:

    Larsson
    Sessegnon
    Michu (Me)
    Kone!!!
    Mata

Makes things interesting when RVP isn't the obvious choice!

First 4 point hit in ages, thought I might juuust scrape through with 11 until Walcott which forced my hand :( .

As a Sunderland fan I don't really see the point in getting in too many players for the DGW. Chelsea will more than likely beat us comfortably without us troubling Cech too much and while we'll be favourites for the Reading game we haven't put in one performance this season that makes me confident we'll be good enough to win the game. A cheap-ish defender like Cuellar may be a decent option but I wouldn't bother getting Fletcher, Sessegnon etc in.

Our fixture list is also awful so more than likely you'd need to get them out from next week.

so there's a big gamble that has backfired before the gameweek has even begun. i captained fletcher hoping he'd make it and most people would avoid him because of the doubt's. wouldn't mind if he missed out altogether so my vice captain michu would get double but fletcher will probably come on as a sub v reading and get me 1 point again this week.

Graham starting for Swansea this week probably puts Michu back to his old attacking-mid position.

Played there last week and still got 2 goals . Most of his goals have came from him playing just off the striker .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 833 ✭✭✭omniscient_toad

But Graham didn't play a minute last week, I seem to remember Michu was playing upfront as he has been the last few weeks?

Shechter has been playing up front for Swansea too lately.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 833 ✭✭✭omniscient_toad

Yeah, he played 60 odd minutes last week, but was off the pitch for Michu's goals when he was up front alone. Have to wait and see how things start this week I guess.

Shechter came off for Luke Moore another striker .

Chelsea should have had a penalty there. Hazard pulled back in the box.
