What time do you get up at in the morning and go to bed at night?

I am a college student and start at 9 in the morning, bus arrives in Dublin at 8.10 and it is 8.30 when I arrive in college, later bus would be cutting it a bit tight. The bus leaves my town at 7.30.

I get up at 6.30 in the weekday mornings and go to bed between 11 and 12 at night. Weekends I usually get up at 11 or 12 in the morning and go to bed at 1 am or something (sometimes 2).

What about y'all?

On weekends, I usually have a lie-in and get up around 8 or 9. I'd probably still go to bed at the same time, though.

The poll is absolutely pointless the way it is now. The question should be: "How many hours sleep do you get, on average, each week night?" I would be vaguely interested in the result of that poll.
Personally, I try to get a minimum of 6 hours sleep per night and 7 hours is perfect. I have not had more than 7.5 hours of sleep on a work night in at least 15 years. Having said that, I sleep very well (unless there is alcohol involved) and don't feel in any way under-rested. Any adult who "needs" more than 8 hours sleep at night (am I allowed say "mainly women"? - please don't ban me!) is what my dear old mammy used to call "a lazy lump".

I'm up no later than 8 during the week and go to bed anywhere between 1 and 3am. I get up early on the weekends too, regardless of how late I go to bed. The alarm clock in my head won't let me lie on, but I don't mind it so much. Lying in bed all morning is wasting the day away to me.

Right. I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad would kill us, and dance about on our graves singing "Hallelujah."

At the minute I'm going to bed between 11:30 and 12:30 and getting up around 9am or so. I find that if I go to bed around that time I wake up refreshed and ready for the day after 8 or so hours but if I go to bed later on I end up sleeping for a lot longer. Often sleep for 10-12 hours and still wake up tired.

I used to have to get up at 5 drive about 2 hours to work and then finish around about 6/7 drive the same home again ...

These days I still head in very early but I head home about 4 much better!!
