    That's a Chaise Longue, not a couch...

Do you know what this is for?

No. I wasn't much good at technical drawing type of stuff.

What do you use it mostly for?

  • Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 28,633 Mod ✭✭✭✭Shiminay

Nope, that is not in my job spec.

Do you hate people who work like that & do not step out of their work "bubble"?

Yeah but find most people do :/

I hate it more "if we do that for you we'd have do it for everyone"

Who'd know and when was the last time some requested this?????

We'd all know, you've just told us.

    Are you happy it's Friday?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,065 ✭✭✭kissmequick

I was happy that Friday had been reached as I was kind-of looking forward to seeing someone somewhere who was there last Friday which was very nice as it was totally random and un-expected and a nice surprise and they were really nice too. :o And it was nice that we may have had an interest in the same thing too! But he wasn't there yesterday. :/:( Sod him it anyways. :(:( And now I've just totally lost all interest in having anything to do with something that I really enjoyed because crappy stuff happening just makes things a gazillion times more hopeless. :/:( So now I just need to forget about it and embrace (yuck embrace sounds so fake and commercial) a new hobby. :p

Do you have any suggestions for new hobbies? :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,742 ✭✭✭✭Wichita Lineman

    Golf. Great hobby.

    Have you ever played golf?

    Spoils a good walk.

    Who said that?

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,742 ✭✭✭✭Wichita Lineman

Not me anyway. It's a great sport.

How often do you go on a long walk without golfing?

You're not mark twain are you?

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,742 ✭✭✭✭Wichita Lineman

No, I am a little bit younger than Mark Twain.

    Have you read his books?

    Not even one.

Do you own any North Face products?

  • Registered Users Posts: 71,799 ✭✭✭✭Ted_YNWA

Don't think so, not brand loyal or aware most of the time.

Does price or label affect you most in clothes purchases?

  • Registered Users Posts: 50 ✭✭Kettlebelljim

Price mainly as I get older, was a sucker for labels in my early 20s.
Priority shifted with the addition of kids, but will still shell out for a decent pair of trainers or boots.

Should anyone scrimp on good footwear?

Thanks man, I find board games start too many arguments with at least one person making up rules as they go along😀
I had a load as a kid though, all from MB (as had most deise kids)

    Favourite board game?

    You ever play it?

    Haha I'm living it.

Prefer a game of battleship with the kids.
Anyone remember the terrible electronic version that came out?

No, just remember saying "Your ship has to be there I have boomed everywhere else".

You get into board game arguments?

  • Registered Users Posts: 50 ✭✭Kettlebelljim

Yes, but we only play them around Christmas when all the family is over, doesn't everyone?

I haven't played a board game in years. Would love to get back into some though.

Can you play any card games?

  • Registered Users Posts: 50 ✭✭Kettlebelljim

Like a spot of poker. Not too fond of the Texas hold 'em though. Grand online but when around the table, prefer straight draw.

    Opinions?

Like Texas Hold 'em even watch late night poker

Have you entered any of the big poker competitions?

  • Registered Users Posts: 50 ✭✭Kettlebelljim

Nope, no chance, no way, no how, married with kids and a mortgage.
I play socially with family maybe a couple of times a year or have a cards night with the guys and have a bit of craic and banter.
But going to big tournaments requires seed money
Would you be able to risk it all on the turn of a card?

I don't think I could. I don't have much but it'd hurt to risk it all so.

Would you play Russian roulette with one bullet in the cylinder for €100 million?
