    Eh about so big

***Sticks hand out in the air **

About this high isn't he ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,017 ✭✭✭EZ24GET

I think he's shorter than that.

How tall do you think the average screen actor is?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 71,799 ✭✭✭✭Ted_YNWA

    Maybe around the 5'10" mark.

Isn't it mad that imperial measurements are officially gone for 20 years or so, but when people ask how tall/heavy are its 5 foot ... / 10 stone .. yada yada yada ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,017 ✭✭✭EZ24GET

not here :p We reject the metric system entirely. We only learn other measures for school and don't remember them any longer than that ( a liter is pretty much a quart, a miter is a little more than a yard, pounds and feet work well :) )

    Do you think we're stubborn?

No though the other people in my head always say I am but I keep telling them I am only one person, I refuse to believe "we" exist.

Did you know that if you spread you arms and hands out fully the tip of your left index finger to the tip of your right index figure equals your height?

Bellagio in Vegas was the biggest, view of the fountains.

    Were you expecting that?

I had hoped for something along those lines Ted. :D I definitely wouldn't have believed you if you had said something like Jury's Inn near Christchurch in Dublin for example :P

Have you a pencil sharpener handy?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 71,799 ✭✭✭✭Ted_YNWA

I have one floating around here somewhere.

Would you not do the manly thing & use a sharp knife?

Nah I'd sharpen a rock first and then sharpen my pencil.

Is that manly enough for you?

    Works for me.

What were you writing / drawing the last time you used a pencil?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,641 ✭✭✭✭Elmo

Probably a drawing with one of my nieces or nephews. Or playing cluedo with them.

My nephew thinks this is brilliant, he's 8

When was the last time you played cluedo?
