This looking after kids is tough!
My son is gone to town with his granny,
My daughter and my niece are baking,
My nephew is killing things on halo reach,
And Ive got my feet up in front of the fire watching the rugby:D

Motoring related, Ive finally tracked down a brake repair kit (and mabe a refurb caliper) for my baby:p

Arrived back to my car earlier to find the bumper mangled. CCTV was useless bar identifying a silver Jetta with a towbar bar, possibly 06c. I really hope it's the cops that find the guy because if I spot the car I am going to hurt someone.

Drove an r53 cooper s today, what a fun car! Was feeling a bit SH!t the last few days about the change in Aviva on the TT 225 so tried liberty on the S and turns out insurance is only 70e more than the Astra, that along with having Owen down here with his knowledge to get them up to 200bhp easily and I'm feeling much happier now :D

What were they charging on the TT? Did you get a quote on the S3?

The cooper S is a hoot to drive and the sound is great - a completely different kettle of fish to the TT/S3 though. The Cooper works are a different ball game.

Trying to convince herself she needs an S next time round. 200hp would be savage, I'd look into a brake upgrade too tho!Owen is quiet here these days, have you a way of contacting him? I can give you the number of the mini specialist who can do pulley, remap etc...

Maybe I'm confused here, didn't know there was an s3 in the equation, thought you were on about getting a cooper s and uprating it

I saw and RS5 on Pembroke Street two days ago. Dark colour, massive air intakes, amazing stance. Cars like that look totally out of place here.

If I wanted a quote on the TT I'd have to do the ignition test and even then he said the quote wouldn't match what I was previously getting from them by a good bit. Same deal for the s3.
What I liked about the cooper was how easy it was to drive, the gear change and seating position etc felt exactly like my Astra.
Owen is mental busy but yeah I do have contact alright :)
Thanks for the langdang but Owen has already given me a fellas number so I can pester him with questions :p

The signs are misleading and confusing.... Worst comes to worst I can always try get the yellow parking zone and pay the hour parking, if I'm on time :)

day 3 in nct head office and all I know is people are idiots. .

we need new awards for stupid people. like the woman who took the time to check her wheel nuts were visible by taking them all off the car, driving to the centre and putting them on the reception desk to check them.....

    oh dear indeed

Good to hear, once you're working with a few decent folk it makes everything easier.

New job starts today, well excited!

Got my car washed at the local garage, I told the lad to do a decent job or id be back to talk to him.
Car looked like a fcukin zebra when it dried:eek: ill be having some sweet and loving words with him later, including a reminder that my car has 4 bloody wheels:mad:

So I got up off my arse and washed it myself.
