take the first 3 numbers of your phone number, not including 086, 087 etc
    multiply it by 1000
add the last 4 numbers of your number
    what have you got?

take your phone number, multiply it by nine,
    add all the digits together,
add all the digits of the answer together,
keep doing that untill your left with 9.

    i bet its 9!

It really is just a simple odd/even number trick.
I'm more impressed by actual mind tricks.

Pick any 2 digit number between 1 and 100. Make sure both digits are odd. Now, make sure both digits are different.

The number you are thinking is:
    73
    .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

    Play the prediction game...

Argentina beats Brazil in the 2014 WC final. Katie Taylor wins another gold in Rio. The world ends on 21/12/12. A megathrust earthquake hits Dublin's northside. The top dogs at CERN die of shock when they get their electricity bill.

I have a few more, but...

Its a mathematical trick. By telling you how many times to move he can start removing pieces from the board. Eventually you'll be forced to land on the 'Happy Face'. Its a really good trick and I dont mean to knock the guy but it was made famous by David Copperfield in the early 90s (I actually remember doing this on my tv as a kid)
