You cant download while the game is running. Go to the dashboard.

The last 2 days I don't know what's going on. Tdm - as soon as I get a kill I'm killed instantly.

First time poster lads here lads, now I'm not a great player k/d ratio about 0.8 but I would always come in the first three a couple of matches a night and that keeps me happy. But over the last week I am getting murdered only getting 9/10 kills in a FFA match consistently coming in last.

Is it the lag... or something else? every time I turn a corner, bam I'm dead. I know its a issue but so long as I get one or two good games a night I'm happy.

Has it got worse over the last week are any of you experiencing this? I have tried to change my style more defensive "camping some might say " changed weapons, more aggressive even tried sniping (and I hate snipers, but each to their own I dont know how they quick scope) nothing really changed, getting fed up at this stage.

I get that as well Eco. Sometimes it's fine but you can get into sessions where no matter what you do ye'r getting murdered.
I've had crappy connections before on COD (I used to play MW2 with wireless internet - midband crap) but Blops takes it to a whole new level.

Has anyone any f*cking idea what's going on, 3 times last night doing well playing Dom, up pops migrating hosts, get back into game and it's as if I've just joined the game, everything zeroed, kills/deaths/caps everything!!!! No idea if the xp for that portion of the game I've played is lost or not but it's really p*ssing me off, happening alot more recently!!

FFA is an absolute dive, the spawning is and has been terrible in it for years. I remember I used to play a lot of it in MW2 and a couple of others and you really have to camp to get anything out of it because if you constantly run then someone will spawn right beside you. With the layout of some of the maps in this game, while I like nearly all of them in general, I tried playing a few FFA games and it's horrible.

This could be simply lag issues. I just turn it off whenever I see in the opponents kill-cam that I haven't shot at him but in real time I actually did. Its a good way to see if there is lag on your part. I'd suggest trying to use a wired connection if you don't have one set up already - much more consistent.

Also, try different guns/class setups/killstreaks. Try running the UAV/Hunter Killer/CUAV. Low points score to get them, gives you lots of points, and screws over the opposition. And if your team is doing well, you are much more more likely too.

It doesn't take away the points you've earned already, just the bonus you would have earned at the end of the match (at that point) will be gone.

Yes! FFA is by far the ****test game mode I can think of. Seriously prone to camping and it's just messy.

China map is ****e, snow map is horendous, only played the dam map once, but the skate park is here/there..nice to get an rc-xd and see if you can do a few flips..

Yeah I am running those perks for the last few weeks and was getting good success with it, but not now.

I have the AN94 perm unlocked as I am prestige 1 and at level 54 at the moment and was running primary gun fighter with quickdraw, extended mag and the dual scope thing and I was getting enough wins to keep me happy. I have gone back over and tried all different weapons but with no success.

I think i have just have to accept that I mightn't be just any good, I am a married man "very" late 30 with two kids so I dont get to play alot, about a 3-5 hrs a week and I might be just falling behind the curve. There is no way I can keep up with the ye young fellas:(

Enjoyed Hydro & the skate map when I played them. The snow map is very MW-esque, I like it but perhaps not as much as the others. I forget the exact pick-10 setup I used with the peacekeeper but it did the job! Mowing through people last night :P

My advice would be, play in a party... Usually a few lads from here on every night, add me if ya want, join the party and add a few others

Just had a game with levels 2/5/32 on my team, can't really have a moan at them as its not their fault but there's something really gone wrong when you have those 3 and me (prestige 1, level 20 odd) and a couple of 2/3 prestige players against a team where every player is 3rd prestige minimum.

After 1st prestige its hard to judge whether it makes much of a difference but when players are levels 2/5/32 at this point you just know that they're going to struggle.

I kind of always kept away from getting into parties as I wouldn't have the commitment to the lads and some of these objective games i didn't have a clue what to do.

Its based off of score per minute as far as I know and not rank.

Really ? Never knew that. 99% of the time I have the highest score per minute in the lobby that I'm in so no wonder I'm constantly getting lumped in with the noobs

you dont understand :pac: the whole thing is based of spm
basicly people who just start, they play 1 game they average a score of 1000points per minute in that game next game they get an average of 500points per min in that game then bam their spm is 750 until the next game and next game

they try and match lobbies based off peoples skill , so basicly every lobbie you join you can nearly guarrentee everyone in that lobbly will have a close spm to you

99% of the time I'm first in my SPM too, it can not based on that. Its absolutely random as far as I can tell. Not that I'm complaining :P

Its based on proximity and SPM

One easy way of bringing your SPM up is by spamming the UAV - CounterUAV - VSAT.

Fair enough you need to be decent enough to get to a VSAT, but if you jump on enough flags etc and half decent with a gun then you should get your UAV, CounterUAV pretty quickly, and then counting uav assist and getting one or two kills you will have a vsat. Then bam, getting assist points all over the shop.

Thats why a lot of people I find with a decent spm are not 'great'. Thats why your placed with loads of people who are unable to do anything.

Explains why I got shafted with my games on christmas day. Spent all day playing people who had prestiged several times just because I'm not horrible at the game

Not saying you're wrong but at least half of the players in every lobby I join are hopeless noobs who can't possibly have a similar spm to me
