    It may sound as Fool's Day news, but it's true. Apple Finally Patents the Round-Cornered Rectangle device:

    You can say it's just this stupid Americans, but they are (unfortunately) biggest and most important market for mobile devices, and this means problem for us all.

    Hi-fcukin-unliky to mean a problem for me. I no longer produce Round-cornered Rectangle device thingies. No longer nor ever. So, what's the big deal? I also don't like Apple. Bring on the trouble.

    How the hell could someone patent such a generic shape. I can think of hundreds of things shaped just like an iPad that existed before an iPad was even thought of.

    There is this crazy American logic to kick ass of everyone just in case it can make profit in the future. I am sure that everyday at least one yankee is trying to patent the wheel. In USA of course.

    Whilst I'm sure they have their patent and are happy with it, I'd be certain that if they ever actually brought anyone to court (say Samsung, for example) they'd be laughed out of the building and their patent be ruled invalid.
