    It will do??They sent the troops to assist the german invasion of Norway,together with french and polish troops.

    During the second anglo dutch war,the norwegians where in battle with the brits,together with the dutch.
    thats as close to an invasion great britain has ever been in Norway.

    The original article wasn't just about invasion. It was tongue in cheek and included any time that Brits had inadvertantly crossed a border, or had soldiers on foreign soil at any point, irrespective of the circumstances

    So Brits and other allied soldiers invaded southern Norway to kick out the Germans, with the Russians coming down from the north. And if I remember correctly, a British force actually occupied and ran Denmark for a number of months after WW2

    Not quite,the battle of Narvik took place in Northern Norway,during the early stages of the invasion.
    The Russians didnt come before the end of ww2,after they had stopped the German advance in Russia.
    And yes there was British occupation force in the end of ww2 in Denmark,untill the Danish authorities could take over control of the country.
    However Faroe Island and Iceland was occupied by the brits during ww2.
