Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Aoife Phelan in Co Laois have arrested a man.

Aoife Phelan has been missing for several days
The man, who is in his late 20s, was arrested at a house in the Portlaoise area and has been brought to Portlaoise Garda Station for questioning.
It is understood that gardaí are now involved in an intensive search at another location in Portlaoise.

Larry Murphy was never charged with or convicted of killing anyone, a lowlife he might be but lets stick to the facts not conjecture and paranoia.

The man is scum and should never have been let out in the first place. He was caught trying to murder a woman in a forest. If it wasnt for those men, that poor woman would be just another missing persons statistic. Come on he was linked to two of the missing women and held as a suspect by gardai. If he was innocent, why did his brother go public on national television telling eveyone that Larry wasnt welcome at home.

    You answered your own question.

No one's saying he did not attempt to murder a woman.

You should have stopped typing after the first 20 words.

The Larry Murphy threads have been done to death many times on many forums.

I think he has now lived in every county in Ireland since he was released.

Thread closed and never to be reopened.
