Please dont do it! I've seen it done before to a Teknys and the gun was totally ruined. I had a Teknys until recently and in my opinion they are a beautiful gun in their own right. DIY jobs on a gun like this couldnt be got right as they are of such high quality and finish that anything else will only look like a botch job

    Agree with the above.

Even if it did work i prefer the "factory" look.

However if you are set on it try a duracoat finish. Not sure what the finish would be like or can it be done on a Beretta action, but i've seen it on rifle barrels, and they turn out fine.

Thanks for the advice guys. I love the gun but id prefer a darker action when pigeon shooting.

It's quite likely going to be a lot cheaper and easier to sit a bit further back in your hide or cover. More important than shine or glare from a gun when shooting pigeons is to wear gloves and something to cover your face as those two tend to be the big giveaway for human presence when a pigeon comes sailing in to land.

If you feel you really need to modify your gun let someone with the right skills and tools do it.

It's hardly going to make a difference to bag count. And as a temporary solution just put some camo tape on it.

First they came for the socialists...

You could spray it with Plastidip, if you don't like it you can peel it off!

I also used this on a Benelli Montrefeltro......just peels off if you ever get sick of it.....no damage to gun

Duracoat is permanent, Plastidip spray is not.
Thats a good reason right there.
Plastidip will not affect the gun finish underneath.
