    Great last run by Jones.

Big win. Shame the Bills couldn't sneak past the Eagles.

Next week is crucial. We've a winnable game at home v the Bills, Eagles play the Cardinals and the Giants play the Panthers. Big opportunity to go a game ahead.

Huge win, should have been far more comfortable but look all that counts at the end is the W.

Next week is now massive, Bills are hard to judge could be anything on the day

You'll be doing very well to beat Chicago to be honest.

I'd stand by that statement, although both teams probably are pretty bad too, to be fair. Well done on the win. But yeah, there's no gimmes against this bears team.

Definitely no gimme but I think overall we deserved it today. Going to be some finish to the season in the Division!

Really is overrated how bad we are. We're a middling team who on their day can be pretty good. Think we dominated nearly all parts of that game tbh and thoroughly deserved the win.

My point during the week was that both teams are underrated. Neither are quite good, but two underrated quarterbacks and two underrated defences, although we didn't prove that today with some bad coverages that cousins took advantage of.

Cousins isn't overrated. He is what he is, an average QB who can be good some of the time but will kill you with stupid decisions on a regular basis too.

They have to start capitalising on turnovers. How many times in the past 3 games has the defence got the ball back in the opposition half but they come away with 0 points? If they can start to turn turnovers into points, they could be winning games without having to stress out the last few minutes of games.

Yep think its 2 TD's we've scored off 21 turnovers this year. Horrific number.

Would like to see us take more shots to Jackson coming straight off a turnover tbh. Got to find some way to make them count anyway.

But jack then we wouldn't be Redskins fans, stress is mandatory even in the easiest of wins!

    Ha ha, yeah that's true.

Got one monkey off the back yesterday by winning on the road, now it's time to get rid of his mate by winning two games in a row.

Looking back, was anyone else worried every time they gave the ball to Matt Jones in the 4th quarter? The guy has had fumbling issues and it was lashing rain, a perfect combination for spilling the ball. Fair play to him though and for Gruden to having faith him in.

Terrified on that final drive, that was some push for the first down, in those conditions and the Chicago backs trying to rip it out of his hands.

I think that the Giants may collapse tonight. :D But the Eagles were solid again yesterday and they have some belief behind them now.

Heart in the mouth stuff when Jones has the ball in his hands but no doubt he's a superior runner to Alf right now and should be getting more of the carries. Would expect him to take the clear primary RB1 role from next week on tbh.

17-17 in the Giants-Dolphins at half time. Be great if the Dolphins did us a favour.

Giants sneak it. Eli had a great game tbf.

Might actually be a good thing for us that the Giants won tonight.

Giants will lose to either the Panthers or Vikings.

If we beat the Bills and lose to the Eagles, we'll need the Giants playing their hardest in week 16 when they play the Eagles to give us a chance.

All in our own hands regardless. Three winnable games remaining that we should hopefully be able to take care of (I'm not expecting it to be smooth sailing in any way though)

Also just read the Redskins are 0-6 v The Bills since they last beat them which was the Superbowl game. I think we're due a win.

That was unfortunate. Had a chance to put the Bills away but muffed the punt and now the Bills are on the verge of getting back into it. Pity.

Great goal line stand there. Excellent stuff...!!!!

Nice getting a win that doesn't come down to the last play. Good performance all around really. I still don't like them backing off on defence when they have a lead but that's the only complaint really.

Nice that the Giants lost too although they made a great comeback. Beckham's meltdown should see him suspended for next week's game too. Hopefully Arizona can do us a favour later on.

Brilliant win earlier. Cousins is legit and needs to get paid. Jordan Reed is also a top 3 TE in this league when healthy. Absolute game changer.

Good start for the Cards. I think regardless of this result though the winner of next weeks game @ Philadelphia is going to win the division. Massive game.

Predictions for the rest of the way lads:

    NFC Champion: Panthers

    AFC Champion: Steelers

    Superbowl Winner : Panthers

MVP: Cam (Don't think this is even a contest anymore)

    Superbowl MVP: Cam

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,961 ✭✭✭Morrison J

Still think the Patriots find a way to be honest. Getting Edelman back for the play offs will be huge.

    NFC Champs: Panthers

    AFC Champs: Patriots

    Super Bowl: Patriots

    MVP: Cam

    Super Bowl MVP: Brady

I think Pittsburgh will beat them in the AFC Championship game. In fact I was just looking at a few things in the playoffs, there is a chance that the Bronco's miss the playoff.

If they lose to Cinci at the weekend(unlikely but just might happen) and the jets beat the patriots then if everyone(Kansas, Pittsburgh, jets, patriots and cinci wins out then broncos are gone)

I know there was tough competition with Gronk, Eifert etc. but I thought Jordan Reed has done enough this season to earn a pro bowl pick. I'd say he'll still get in as a replacement but it would have been nice to get in on the initial list.

I would agree Reed has been top 3 this year but his injuries probably hurt him. I think he's actually been the most effective TE this year and that includes Gronk. Barnbridge and Eifert have been exceptional as well though.

So what's the consensus for Saturday night? Are they going to win and seal the division or lose and make us sweat another week? Their record in night games the past couple of years has me worried but they won on the road and won two games in a row the past two weeks so they're in a streak breaking mood so I'd say they get it done.

Breeland got the most robbed in the Pro Bowl picks imo.

Less than half an hour till kick off.

Matt Jones out, gonna need a big game from Alf.

Most nervous I've been for a game in a long time. I've no doubt we're the better team, this is the type of game we're good at finding a way to lose though. All Cousins is missing this year is a big Primetime game. Hopefully this is it.
