Just a bit of a heads up for anyone in the portumna area just heard from a friend that 6 dogs have been poisoned in lorrha, tynagh and ballyshrule! I was told they were poisoned in their own gardens so just keep an eye all the dogs were in with the vet with the same symptoms!!!

Few CCTV cameras are small money when this crap happens. It won't prevent it obviously but would help put people off & maybe catch em...

As said were they gun dogs, pets, guard dogs etc

As far as I know they were all types of dogs! I have no clue why any one would want to do something like that!! As Daithi says its a fair area so it's definatly been done on purpose!!

F*CKERS! Hard to belive that they go to those lengths but I've a pal in Meath and his sheds were robbed only days after his dog was poisoned...BIG THANKS to the man who started this thread for the heads up I think is in order.
