    Yops was a 3MPS Right?
Maybe its the torque steer he misses!
Really MM ive found normal parts for the mazda 3 expensive.

That Red MPS is a japan import and has being sitting in that garage for over 4 years now, the mazdaspeed stitched into the seats is a give away. Dunno why but i just wouldn't touch it, maybe its the lunatic price.
Pity the regular 2.3/2.0 would never sell here because i think they suit the 3 nicely.

You don't get the torque steer from it, its just a nice bit of power but not too much.

Mazda parts are expensive no matter what the car. Parts are different compared to service items i.e. a gearknob would be a part but spark plugs are service items.

When I serviced the 6, I got air filter, oil filter, plugs, cabin filter and 6 litres of oil all from a Mazda dealer for around €130.

The condition of the 3 reflects the low milage (less than 3k) but there is something very very strange about it. I mean, how can that NI reg'd 3MPS that was in KK sell before this? That one was a horrible colour and had a lot more milage.

The reason there's no torque steer is because the torque output is limited in 1st and 2nd gear ;) They even did that in the 6MPS even though it has 4WD!

It was the 6 I had, miss it for pure power, the old ST TDCI just does'nt do it lol

    That's why I got a 335i. I needed more power :P

Oh yeah that hunk of sh1t disappeared quick actually.

No it's true the price does reflect the fact it's barely being used, but still think its along the lines of that old 156gta that was stuck on carzone for years!!

The poxy spark plugs for me where expensive the last time I got them, I'd to make sure I hadn't gotten mps or rx8 ones by mistake, and from a wholesaler too.
Can't remember the exact price now, but the shock look from me was priceless!!

If you got RX8 plugs you would know the difference immediately. I got a set from the same Mazda dealer and they were €300 for a set  Also they look very different on top.
