In Lagos in Portugal there is a small restaurant that sells Pizza with Banana on top of it.
    I tried it.
Not bad/ as sickening as I expected, but I wouldn't try it again.

Christ on a bike, why cant people post some context with their photos?

I dont need a story, I dont even need a paragraph, but something would be nice instead of just vomiting 10 pictures onto a post and not a word of text.

People were talking about pineapple on pizza. This guy went a step further - a pizza topping (tomato and mozzarella) on a pineapple. It was a continuation of a theme.

EDIT: Sorry, for some reason I thought the person talking about the pineapplizza was the same who posted about having some context with the pics.

The ironic thing is you thanked a picture of something I didn't like. :pac:

I like pineapple on pizza but wouldn't fancy pizza on pineapple.

How do you know, if you haven't tried it? :pac:

I just imagine it would be way to tangy with all the pineapple and juices.

And having no base on it wouldn't be pleasant either!

Great for reducing your carb intake though!

The whole world used to ask “will I ever use algebra”

    Then Facebook was invented.

Now the whole world argues about pictures like this.

(And most don’t even see the irony in that)

Was thinking it was that one. The 2nd last picture is a monument that was built in Kazakhstan by their Dictator. Saw it on Dark Tourist. Can't remember them saying if it was actually used for anything

Edit: - see post 8852 below. It was Turkmenistan

I think some of them are fairly self explanatory.

    #1: Oil rig being deployed
    #2: SR-71 Blackbirds being built
#3: Crank shaft(?) from a ships engine
    #4: Not entirely sure
#5: Looks like the internal of an MRI machine
#6: It a brick laying machine
#7: Looks like part of a bridge
    #8: No clue
#9: Looks like it belongs in the LHC.

Thats entirely my point, some of them you can guess, but pictures are mostly far more interesting if you know what they actually are.

The pictures I find don't always have any additional information either - that one, for instance, just said "Cool engineering" (well, duh, thank you website. :)), but I posted it anyway because I found it was cool indeed. When I do get captions I usually post them (like the Hong Kong view from the sky).

Apologies, it was Ashgabat in Turkmenistan. It's called the Wheel of Enlightenment

That city is nuts and holds a record in Guniess Book of Records for the world's highest concentration of white marble buildings

    Clicked on the link.
No idea what some of them were but I thanked it anyway because they had wheels and cogs and stuff.

I took No 1 as a rig being dismantled. Am I a glass half empty kind of person? :D

    It's obviously a Schroedinger's Oil Rig. Duh.
