    Taken Portugal u21 win & BTTS @6.00

England missing Berahino, Shaw and Chambers now called to the seniors. Portugal a decent outfit at this age group.

edit: is just a friendly though.

Aren't Thursdays the worst ever for footie betting ? .. Friday morning is a whole different league as Israeli football offers some great value. Soccerway have started stating Liga Alef and you can generally find a bit of treasure here.

Still early days with only 8 games gone, but it's enough to get a feel for the pattern of games.

Kiryat Malachi v Kfar Kasem Alef South @ 11.00 am
Bottom of the table teams early season can tend to belie the fact that they're a good bit better than the stats suggest - think Newcastle 6 games ago. Malachi fit that mould and are a mid table mediocrity outfit. Their home form isn't spectacular but should be strong enough to see off a team with only 1 away win going back 14 games (1-4-9). Kiryat Malachi @ 2/1 is a strong bet.

Then of course we have goals, which there should be a few of with only a slight question mark over Kfar Kasems ability to bring more than 1 to the party (4 goals in 4 aways. conceding 9). No markets at the moment but I'll be looking to BTTS, BTTS FH & Overs. Ta

    Edit ...#epicfail 0-0 :(

Taken +3.5 FH goals in Philippines v Cambodia @10.00

Starting now, Hartman from Global FC up front with Phil Younghusband also playing who scored 4 against them last year in the 8-0 win. It was 4-0 at Ht then.

Scotland U19 v Holland U19 the Dutch are priced at 1.83, does anyone think that's a value bet? Its a friendly

PP have Germany v Gib Own goal market - 4.33 any time. Given how many shots are likely to be coming in I'd imagine that's worth a punt.

    Dutch squad for that one:

Suently Alberto (PSV), Riechedly Bazoer (Ajax), Pelle van Amersfoort (sc Heerenveen), Hidde ter Avest (FC Twente), Donny van de Beek (Ajax), Damian van Bruggen (Ajax), Kevin Diks (Vitesse), Joël Drommel (FC Twente), Tarik Kada (sc Heerenveen), Issa Kallon (FC Utrecht), Damon Mirani (Ajax), Bart Nieuwkoop (Feyenoord), Yanick van Osch (PSV), Bilal Ould-Chikh (FC Twente), Bart Ramselaar (FC Utrecht), Dabney dos Santos (AZ), Jari Schuurman (Feyenoord), Stijn Spierings (AZ), Calvin Verdonk (Feyenoord) en Richairo Zivkovic (Ajax).

Bolded are the ones who play regular enough with the big boys as far as i know, mostly Jupiler league for Jong Ajax/Twente/PSV

I took the bus to town today with 2 clear goals in my mind -

    (1) TO WIN/FIND MONEY

    (2) TO FINALISE MY WORLD CUP STICKER ALBUM AND FINALLY GET THE ILLUSIVE DALEY BLIND

......... And hopefully I have done just that.

WEDNESDAY THE 12TH FEBUARY 2003 - Sporting enthusiasts will forever remember this day as probably the greatest sporting day in Irish history. I for one will never forget it, that day a sporting great was made, CLINTON MORRISON.

It was the day the Irish took down the formidable and great Scotland team IN THEIR OWN BACK YARD, the cathedral of Glasgow, Hamden park.

    SCOTLAND 0-2 IRELAND

"The greatest result in Irelands history" - Jimmy Magee
"that day I was no longer a black gangster, i was a freckly ginger **** from finglas" - clinton Morrison
"I am proud to call Clinton my son" - Van Morrison

I firmly believe Ireland can re create the magic of that day and beat the mighty scots once again in their back yard, as you all know clinton went on to achieve so much in his glittering career, currently Colchester towns most promising player with an outstanding goals tally this season 2 goals scored for only 1500 minutes played.

goal scorers dont come much better than this kid.

Im feeling nostalgic and optimistic, I feel we can re create the magic of Glasgow 2003 the greatest day in Irish sport

I know people will call me a fool, "that was then this is now" .... The team was so much better back then, names that rolled off the tongue As far afield as COlombia were at the fore of the probably the greatest ever Irish team
    Doherty
    Breen
    Kilbane
Kinsella (ahhh who could replace the mighty mighty kinsellla)
    Connolly
    Colgan
    Carsley

it was no luck that day that we beat the indomitable Scotch. The team has changed significantly since then, its hard to see how the current crop of Irish stars can imitate this unimaginable feat, many manager has come and gone in this time and they all inevitably felt the wrath of the FAI sword - staunton, Trap, noel king.... they can be forgiven as they faced a unattainable task in replacing the greatest Irish team ever.

I strongly feel O'neil is truely on his way to building a team that can come close to the 2003 squad. It will be tough BUT IT CAN BE DONE

COME ON YOU BHOYS IN GREEN

BET : IRELAND WIN CLINTON MORRISON ANYTIME 2/1 £40

Poland have to be take @ evens on Sky Bet, with such a tight group and no margin for error they have to win against a Georgian team who a def tough to beat at home but with the quality Poland have they will hopefully get across the line, plus a bit of greed setting in Poland (-1) @ 11/4 Betfair:pac:

“Georgian football is dead”, was the damning indictment delivered by national head coach Temur Ketsbaia in the lead up to Georgia’s crucial Euro 2016 qualifier against Poland at the Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi on November 14.

Ketsbaia, who has been under pressure for several months, announced that he would resign as head coach regardless of the Georgians’ result against group leaders Poland in a dramatic press conference on November 13.[...]

In Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, Poland have a world-class striker, while Georgia’s attack is likely to be fronted by Albania-based Niko Gelashvili, who scored his first goal for his country at the 23rd attempt against Gibraltar.

hard to see how Georgia will be motivated for this game, unless they want to prove their coach wrong...

2-0 at HT .. friendly factor probably made them less inclined to go for blood today.

Yup in to 17/20 (same thing) atm, but @ 10/11 on Betfair still - I took the Poland to win to nil @ 7/4 too, it was a deflected goal they scored against Ireland and other than that they were no serious threat

Depends on their motivation to score, and how much Georgia will continue their attacking appraoch.

I have a little bit on Germany -1 which is at 3.1 on boylesports
