    Hi,

I have decided to try set up a calving camera system (after reading this thread today).

I was reading the set up by "just do it": " took the plunge and purchased the Foscam camera and 3 nano-stations on ebay. I was going to buy from Foscam UK direct but I just thought the extra st£35 added in at the final step a bit checky, and suddenly it was €132 vs €75 on ebay. The nano-stations from the website linked earlier in this thread were not available for immediate shipping, hence I'm getting these from ebay as well.

All going well I'll have the full set-up for €235 "

With this, is there a possibility to access the camera from your iphone? Is there a suitable app out there?

Don't have an Iphone but any "ip camera" app from the app store should do the essentials

Hi I am going to set up a calving camera in my shed and was wondering if anyone has used homeplugs? My shed is about 100m from the house but when we built the shed we took a power supply from the house to the sheds for the lights and plug etc. Anyway if I get a Foscam camera or similar IP camera with an Ethernet connection port can I use the homeplugs to transmit the signal to my router via the second homeplug? Is there any other item of equipment I would need or would this be sufficient ? I am connecting to an eircom router as well so I would want to have access via my iphone. Is it a hard job to port the camera out from my router to my phone?

    Thanks in advance
