    I tried my hand at smoked mackerel kedgeree. I overcooked the eggs a bit but other than than it was delicious. Will definitely make it again.

    The food looks really good, but the photo looks bloody professional - that's amazingly well taken! Nice table, too. :)

    Smoked salmon, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce on toasted porridge bread.

    Used a shallow pan for poaching, no vinegar or swirling just dropped them in from a saucer. Cooked them for too long but it was good to have four eggs ready at the same time. :)

    Must try making my own hollandaise someday, that looks amazing gloomtastic! Had eggs benedict myself yesterday in Liberty Grill in Cork.....oh its been too long!

    I'm 10 weeks pregnant and going through the evening sickness phase. So to make up for the evenings, I have two breakfasts :)
    Today was porridge with homemade raspberry jam followed by an encore of Greek yoghurt, mixed berries, granola and seeds. (Lunch followed very shortly after that :) )
