The tuition charge will be covered by the 'free fees' if you have never attended a 3 level university/IT before.

God i don't know why UCD are adding it to my account then....anyway thank you so much!! nearly got sick when i saw it this morning, nearly six grand in total if i had to pay it!!

They always have it added that way at the start. If you are eligible for the free fees it will show up in a few days. Usually takes a little while for the info to come in and get processed.

My registration form also stated I had to pay the tuition fees, I nearly died of a heart attack, sent about 60 emails to any mail adress I found in the administrative & fees office on UCD website :p

One hour later I received an email; they had updated my form and the amount 2.433 :D

Send the fees&grants office an email, they'll update your sisweb registration form :)

Perhaps the offers for accommodation come out after the Round 2 offers? If in doubt you could possibly contact UCD and ask them when they are giving out accommodation? :)

Apparently some people will be getting them today - and then I have to wait until the offers reach high numbers on the waiting list :/

Well I hope so, because my parents are starting to look at whatever will be available with a roof and a bed, and my mom just asked me if, as temporary accomodation, a convent/nunnery would be acceptable, as she (how, I have no idea) knows someone there... *headshot*

Might be...I just received my letter from UCD, apparently there's a two-hours introduction to Arts and registration next Monday, but I really can't just buy a plane ticket and come to the introduction just for two hours and then go back to France :p
Are you planning to go ? Do you think it will really affect my
    registration/orientation/etc process if I can't go ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,416 ✭✭✭Maldesu

It won't effect your reg process. It's probably because you are an international student and they want you to get used to the area etc. They'll give out tips and such things.
