OK,thoughts on yesterday The firs thirty minutes or so I thought we were very nervous but as the game progressed and into the second half we took it by the scruff of the neck and really overwhelmed Hibs, As far as team performances go my thoughts are as follows.

ForderinghamSeemed nervous and IMO could have performed better at their goal. His distribution was dodgy at times but I am sure this will be worked on, but what a pleasure to see the ball played out from the back instead of punted up the park.
Tavernier Was willing to get forward and in the main did his defensive duties after a shaky start. Scored a neat free kick to equalise. This goes for the whole back line though there is no doubt it will take time to gel.
Kiernan Seemed to settle again after a shaky start but was involved in the penalty along with Wilson soft award but hey it was Collum that was Ref.
    WilsonSee above
WallaceHe is going to take time to get back to the player he was but showed flashes yesterday.
Holt Quietly went about his business hope to see him impose himself more in coming games.
Halliday My MoM yesterday controlled the midfield and scored a peach of a goal to mark his debut playing for his boyhood hero's
Law Another of the old guard who was slow to started but grew into the game chased and harried played some nice football
Templeton The player I was most disappointed in he really needs get his act together quickly showed in patches he could be a player.
Waghorn Must be delighted with his debut yes like the others started slowly but took his first goal well and his second yes he had some luck but he had to be in the position to get it.
    Subs
Clark Ran willingly but need a break in front of goal
Shiels Again played his normal game
Miller Came on for Templeton and played well scoring his goal by coming from a wide position

So room for improvement? Most definitely but it is early days. Said before the game I believe we need a couple more players not changed my mind on that. So hopefully we will see them sooner rather than later

I'm quite happy that the first thing out of Warburton's mouth was that the first half was not good enough.

Not letting a great result cloud his judgement.

And Scott Allan was seen with several Rangers players in Glasgow, should keep the media entertained for a few more days :pac:

Yeah saw some pics of course the fact he is best pals with Halliday will have nothing to do with it.;)

Well, I don't think it's a coincidence the picture was released now... ;)

Hibs will play hard ball but we don't need Allan right now, we can wait and get him on a pre-contract.

Allan has handed in a transfer request, seems he doesn't want to wait :)
In the face of continued media interest, Hibernian Football Club can confirm that Scott Allan has today handed in a written transfer request.

This comes on the back of two unwelcome and uninvited approaches from Rangers FC regarding Scott, the first for £175,000 and the second for £225,000.

Hibernian FC has refused both bids because the Club has no wish to transfer a valuable player to strengthen a major rival in the battle to win the Championship and gain promotion to the Premiership.

Hibernian’s position has not changed. The player will not be sold to Rangers.

    :D:D:D

As if Rangers give a fck if it's unwelcome or uninvited. That's how transfers generally work.
That statement oozes pain and hatred.

Compare to Stubbs a while back when Dundee utd made 3 bids for him in January.
“I want other teams to make bids for our players – it means we have good players. That’s the sign of a team doing well."

They don't want to sell to their main rival. 225k is buttons, it's not like rangers are making them an offer they can't refuse. If they can afford it they're doing the right thing. Sell him to someone else or just let him rot and he can go for nothing. 225k, laughable.

225k was the second bid no one knows what the third bid was. He has s year left he is not worth more than 500k. It is also the We won't sell him to Rangers why not just say he is not for sale.
Also by not selling him they will have an unhappy player on their books.

Hang on a minute, that is big big money for the club that has to take loans and not pay them back

It is for them, I was talking about Hibs I don't think they're that skint. 225k isn't anything near enough to hand over a psychological advantage to their main rival for automatic promotion. The bid is a riddy as they say.

Yeah, because letting him rot on the bench or with the reserves will benefit them greatly :)
Add to that that he's been getting threats now I can't see him stay at all.

    http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/twitter-erupts-hateful-abuse-after-6155168

It was just a second bid by the way, do you think it's not normal to keep going higher if necessary ? Hibs were the ones who decided to throw it all out in the open and make Allan a pawn in all this.
They have caused this entire mess and have made it impossible for him to stay much longer.

He's in his last year, Rangers are hardly going to offer what Hibs want (£1m if I'm correct).

Funny, I fully expected our resident Celtic fans to be much quicker on the ball when it came to informing us about bad behaviour among scottish football fans....;)

Preoccupied by an important game today to worry about keyboard warriors from the 2nd tier of Scottish football

They could have said 'Scott Allan will not be sold.' but they chose to be bitter about it.

That shows me there's some serious resentment in the Hibs boardroom.

But at least we know they're not too shy to get a player at another possible title contender :p

Rangers have appointed Peterhouse Corporate Finance as corporate advisor, another step closer to listing on ISDX.

Must be a ****ty no-mark outfit.

    What's that ?
"Peterhouse is ranked Number 1 independent small cap broker for AIM companies by the Advisor Rankings 2014, in addition Peterhouse Corporate Finance is the largest ISDX Growth Market Corporate Adviser. Peterhouse is also the owner of JP Jenkins"

    Surely not!

Another step in the right direction.

And I see that Spiers has been banned from Ibrox, the good news keeps coming :pac:

edit: And Chris McLaughlin too it seems, brilliant.

Of course Spiers makes it seem like it doesn't bother him by talking more BS :)

Any auditors willing to sign the current boards version of the accounts yet?

Id imagine the first thing they'll advise is that you need a NOMAD and 18 months working capital to get on the market. Not the promise of working capital. Cold hard cash.

If I'm correct they're not banned as such, but have had their press privileges revoked.
It's pathetic banning journalists unless they have been completely ott which dont believe is the case here.

Calling Spiers a journalist is taking it a bit far :pac:

He has been at it for nearly 20 years (people still haven't forgotten the hatchet jobs he did when Jock Wallace and Davie Cooper passed away). He once claimed that Rangers fans sang 'Klinsmann’s a Klansman' and it's been the same ever since.

McLaughlin blatantly lied about Rangers fans being arrested at Easter Road despite not even the police making that information public, and when questioned on it first said the match commander voluntarily gave him (and only him) the report and later said he asked for it. In the meantime nobody still knows who got arrested, yet he seems to be sure what happened.

Plus the fact he was basically a mouth piece for Media House and Jack Irvine, the PR d*ckhead for the previous board.

Keevins was also banned by Celtic, Jackson too I believe.

The BBC are going to ban Ibrox over Ibrox banning Beeb journalists. The circus continues.

Really could not care less what the BBC do their coverage if Scottish football as a whole is a joke

Again: Rangers didn't ban anyone, they took away the press privileges of 2 proven liars with an agenda. If they really want to they're still able to get to Ibrox, they can just not use any of the press facilities.

If the BBC ( a publicly funded organisation) want to throw their toys out the pram then good, I don't know a single Rangers fan who wants them at Ibrox. I wonder how the BBC main offices in England feel about their Scottish branch going against their own charter about always remaining independent :)
