I stay in the hampen court guesthouse just behind suachiehall street.. Cost roughly £25 pound a night... Bed shower and toilet is all I need!

Anyone think we'll get a result tomorrow?

    I think it'll be 3-1... to Barca.

the element of surprise is gone and there is an expectation of us at home now. i think barca will cut us open more as we try to get something from the game after we concede an early soft goal from mulgrew or whoever is at left back being caught half asleep. id nearly bet on it

not sure of the hotels location.. but there are some evil bastard of hills around sauchiehall street

I expect us to play the same way we did at Camp Nou, keep it nice and tight and don't make any costly errors.
I'm hopeful of getting a point. Maybe Barcelona will be happy with a draw.

Nah no major hills.. A small slope for about 30 seconds then your standing in the middle of suachiehall street! Sure after a few soft drinks you won't even notice any hill ;)

Looks like Hooper wont be playing tonight and Celtic have advised against him being called up against Sweden. Pity!

Agree with this... 1-3 to Barca.

Absolutely cannot wait but I don't have the confidence I had before the last game, I think Barca have the measure of us now and we're down a few important players tonight. Hope I'm wrong.

Or do a Gary Lineker which remains the funniest thing I've ever seen on a football pitch.

Whatever happens tonight the atmosphere at Paradise is going to be electric. It would be some feeling to be there.

I think while Barcelona will have a better idea what they are facing I still fancy Celtic to make life difficult for them. If Barca are to win I really hope they have to work hard for it and if we win it would probably be one of the biggest nights in our history. One can dream :).

There's to be a Barca fan zone in the Merchant City if anyone wants to join the 'other' side for a while before or after the game :) 1-0 hope for a Celtic win tonight(I'm an eternal optimist I am;))

Hope the weather clears up before the game:mad:

Celtic: Forster; Lustig, Ambrose, Wilson, Matthews; Commons, Wanyama, Ledley, Mulgrew; Miku, Samaras

subs: Zaluska, McCourt, Herron, Fraser, Kayal, Watt, McGeouch

Glad to see Samaras starting but not the strongest team, a really pity to be missing Izzy, Brown & Hooper. Really hope we can get something from the game but looking at that team we'll need a miracle.

thats a weak bench! matthews at lb doesnt fill me with confident, remember him struggling there before.

hopefully miku's goal at the weekend brings him more confidence

I think Kayal, Watt and McGeouch are the only viable outfield options from that bench. Mulgrew will cover any injuries in defence.

The Barcelona defence is there to be opened up tonight. Whether we have the quality to trouble them is questionable, hopefully Miku will have a really good game. Commons also needs to work hard tonight to track the runs of Alba. I can see there being quite a few goals in this one, hopefully most of them going to the men in green and white :D

kayal should be in for mulgrew and watt for miku with 4-5-1 and samaras wide

mulgrew is really found out in these games, i don't think he is good enough on the ball, especially in a left-sided midfield role, he looked the least capable player technically at the game at the nou camp and he shouldn't be played in that position nor should he get his game purely for setpiece reasons (having said all that expect him to score now ;))

i think watt is an excellent prospect and would give him a chance to run their dodgy defence ragged, miku still hasn't really settled if you ask me

I think Mulgrew got the nod for his set-piece delivery and it's hard to see us scoring from open play so I'd go along with that one, I do agree on Watt he's done far more to deserve a start than Miku, he has a real presence up front and I'm sure would have bust a gut had he started.

Big chance for Miku to make an impact
