But it's good to see that from 'no history' you're now turning to 'broken history'.
Give it a while and you'll confirm that the club's history is in fact intact ;)

    Who mentioned rangers? :P

Exactly. I heard no mention of Rangers, old or new, today.

Just celebrating the close to our 125th year of unbroken history. Nothing wrong with that, a fine season it was too. Whether Rangers/The Rangers or whatever they are called these days have no history, a broken history or an intact history is completely irrelevant tbh.

He said its deluded to think that Lennon wouldnt take the Everton job if offered despite there being several reasons to why he's better off where he is for now.

Its not a silly argument, he said he's not going anywhere unless its a really good offer from a big club. An overachieving club on limited resources isnt what he'd consider a "big club" in interviews. Lennon has stated what would tempt him away from Celtic already, Everton isnt it imo

For a league that possesses no challenge for the foreseeable future, he's made hard work of it and his inexperience at certain aspects of management still clearly evident. Whats worse is that he's starting to defend these shortcomings as opposed to his forthright views on poor performances earlier in his Celtic career.

If he's as smart as I think he is, he'll stay and learn more because he realises his shortcomings. If he's desperate to jump onto the EPL managerial merry-go-round with Everton as suggested, he wont last long at all because he doesnt have the required skillset for that job.
Maybe Lennon thinks he's the man to take them that bit further than Moyes took them. He'd no doubt see it as a challenge well worth relishing. He'd be on much better money too so would be hard to resist.
IMO I still don't think theyd want him. A wee birdie tells me that when he leaves Celtic he'll go to Leicester, whenever that may be.

Enjoyed yesterday and on a little GIRUY point, I was so so glad Frazer Wright scored in the last minute especially after this antics yesterday. Loved the PA announcer for his goal as well.

He emphasised the name and the fact he scored number 4 'Frazzzer Wriiight'. Done it as if he was a Celtic player which would have annoyed the fecker even more

haha I didn't hear that. A great touch that as that elbow on Lustig was deliberate. He clearly had a look at Lustig before he droped the elbow.

Great performance all round though. The pace and movement was superb. Brown was excellent for his first game back in 2 months and I think Mulgrew alongside Wilson should be our cup final center back pairing.

That's because a true gent is a true gent, regardless of where he's from, his creed, colour or the team he plays for.

    Very few like Tommy Burns.

Speaking of €50, did The The The Keith ever ante up on his charity bet money?

I very much doubt it. He was never going to pay up pretty pathetic really

No Adam Matthews this weekend against Dundee United. Hope that is just a precation so he is fit for the final next week. Mulgrew is out also but it sounds like that is just a case of not taking any chances with him.

    http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/cannes-peter-mullans-paradise-creates-524592?

Writer/director/actor Peter Mullan's Paradise, a movie about the founding of legendary Scottish soccer team Celtic Football Club by a priest in 1887, is creating buzz among buyers.

    •Cannes Film Festival 2013
The movie, billed as Gangs of New York meets Field of Dreams in Victorian Glasgow, is being shopped in Cannes by movie director and producer Peter Broughan.

Broughan, whose directing résumé includes Rob Roy, told The Hollywood Reporter he was exceptionally busy because he has a "project that everyone wants."
The movie details the story of Irish Marist priest Brother Walfrid, who founded the soccer club at a catholic church in Glasgow on November 6, 1887.
Buyers have been keen to talk, and market insiders are abuzz with reports that Daniel Day-Lewis has been linked to the role of Walfrid.

While nothing is signed, Mullan is reportedly expected to reach out to Day-Lewis as he would be the perfect choice to portray the soccer-loving priest.
Celtic became the first British club to win the European Cup in 1967. The team is one of the most supported sporting entities in the world and is estimated to have more than a million fans in the U.S. alone.
Broughan is a lifelong fan of the team, nicknamed "the Hoops."
