Most chemists carry a line, but i would recommend a good lens pen. Most shops carry them and they are only €12. Alcohol, and Meth. spirits can leave a subtle residue when they evaporate. Not a problem but a slight issue none the less.

Get a good lens pen, brush well with the lens you are cleaning facing down so as not to rub an loosened grit/dirt around the lens then use the opposite side to clean.

Stakelums definitely have them as i seen them only 2 weeks ago. Not sure how helpful that is to ya. Is all else fails try ebay.

As for the Alcohol. Any ethonal based liquid should be good enough, but i would try the pen first. Designed for the purpose.

Honestly, and without being a dick about it, i would think very carefully before putting anything near your lens unless you are 100% certain of what it will do, and more to the point if it will do any damage.

I'm not sure what in the wipes, but i don't think they are pure enough to be used. If stuck get some alcohol wipes from a chemist, some meth spirits from a chemist, and single use cotton wipe. Keep them bagged up so no dirt or grit can get onto then cotton, and remember above all else to clean with the scope facing down. Seen a few lads wrecking a scope by unintentionally wiping some grit around their scope lens.

Get yourself a couple of these
One for the glove box and one for your cleaning kit...
I use something very similar and they work a treat.

I would not risk an antiseptic. At the very least I would expect residue.

I have never actually used any solvents on any of my scopes or sunglasses.

If there is dirt, I rinse with water. Then I rub using an Oakley microfiber bag.

If memory serves me correctly, high end sunglasses such as Oakley recommend that you not use solvents to clean them. I would expect the same is true for scopes.
