    sorry fella not given you stick or that but the bear grylls video is more or less LIE'S and hear is another VIDEO THAT IS AIR BRUSHED TO LOOK GOOD FOR THE LEGION http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhBFkKuXqGM most of the videos you will see published by the legion will more or less made to make them look good ,,,,, the only way to find out what it is really like is to , well , just join up, what you see in the link above will be young men who made it trough the tough selection process and medical tests, i am a irish citizen and will be getting my visa and ticket over to france to try out as soon as i have all my bills taken care of,, its one of the hardest decisions i have ever tried to make in my 26 years on this plannet ,,,,, again not haven a go at you lad most of the stuff in the bear grylls vid's is set up the men training them is x legion soilders , any how peace

    You've about a 1 in 9 chance of getting in if the statistics are the same as a couple of years ago. Its very easy to get into compared to the PDF and the BA so you should have no hassle if you have your head screwed on for the aptitude tests etc. Best of luck!

    theres a fair few irish in the legion. i tried to join a couple of years back and spent about a month at selection. every week or so there would be 2 or 3 irish added to selection. im not sure how many of those actually made it through but it does appear to be a popular destintion for failed pdf applicants.
