Can we do a experimental team of midfielders at some point, like 0-10-0?

    Woj

    Oxo--Rosicky--Frimpong--Diaby--Coquelin--Ramsey--Arteta--Wilshere--Arshavin--Cazorla

Stick Walcott in goals and i think we have a winner.

Also a question why do that other club thats in north london who i won't mention have there own forum ?? Our thread is one of the most frequently updated threads and I think we deserve our own thread .....There not even a Champions league team :O

A very jisty explanation...when boards was set up one of the administrators or first mods or someone like that did it for their spurs supporting friend...or something along those lines.

One of the original Admin was a Spurs supporter, so it was set up in the early days. Keeps themselves to themselves. Not like they really belong on a soccer forum anyway :pac:

I recall that he turned down better offers (in terms of money AND length) to stay with Arsenal, so I don't really accept your friends theory! His good form was more down to him being able to play consistently as he had a good injury free spell for the first time in ages.

He had an operation on his achilles in July, I think I read he'll be back in the next 2/3 weeks.

Nice to see The Ox made the cover photo! Although his virtual self looks a bit skinnier than the real one.

Haven't got a Fifa game in a very long time, might get this one. Used to be a pro-evo man but Fifa has been the better of the two for quite a while now.

If that was the case, why was he still playing well and not injured long after signing the contract???

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie was substituted at half-time during Netherlands' World Cup qualifier against Hungary with a suspected thigh injury.

Van Persie took two knees to the thigh in a challenge with Hungary defender Roland Juhasz and was replaced by Klaas-Jan Huntelaar during the interval. The extent of the Dutchman's injury has not yet been confirmed.

It is so great not having to worry about that anymore. As good as Diaby has been, he's not vital to the team at this stage. He's the only injury prone player we have who is away on International duty this time around.

If that is any way serious, United could be in real trouble with Rooney out too.

From what I heard Diaby asked not to play tonight cos he didn't feel 100% not that he had a knock, good for us he's looking after himself.

And fair play to Deschamps too. Nice to see that some international managers actually give a damn about the condition they send the players back to their clubs in.

Exactly. I cant help thinking whether Holland used give Van Persie a few tips of a hammer before he got on the plane back to London :D

They can work away now by all means :pac: (joke)

The story is absolute rubbish. 1) We couldnt afford his wages and 2) He wouldnt join another premier league team out of respect for Chelsea.

This is just another story to try and belittle Arsenal some more as they haven't had anything to write over the weekend, We have proven goal scorers in our team regardless of what some football fans might think

Wenger said diaby gas a chance to play Saturday
I hope he is rested for the trip Tuesday either way

Exactly. Im optimistic for starters that when Giroud starts to score he will hit a rich vein of form.

I mean if we are going on successful buy's regarding who scores closer to their debut then by the media's logic, Adebayor was better then both Bergkamp and Henry

Just watched the France vs Iceland match, where Giroud showed some beautiful link up place and great passing skill to assist 2 goals. He would really do well up front with Podolski as Giroud is great at creating chances when the ball is hoofed up to him and as Poldi is the best finisher there should be many goals.

I think Podolski is being wasted on the wing, and its time for us to play 2 strikers.

Podolski did fantastic from the wing against Liverpool. Really helps Gibbs on the defensive side of things as well.
