I have sent some PM's asking folks to be more careful recently. Not my place to do it perhaps, but I don't want to see this place closed.
There are plenty of other very good forums out there, where all topics can be discussed freely

That may be true, but if people continue on ignoring the rules of this forum this thread will end up being closed and that would be a great shame. We'd all be up sh1t creek then!

Ditto for me, it is a great combo box with 7day epg etc
Unfortunately if the other features disappear then the level of support is likely to reduce as fewer will be using the box

The level of support will drop when the next box comes along anyway, besides the other features are not disappearing, only HD, but it's been well known this would happen eventually, Sly have been pushing new HD boxes with their new firmware and offering upgrade deals to get people to change. Anyone who bought this box in the last 6 months and didn't know about this was either badly advised or didn't do their research properly

Anyone getting movies on tsmedia stuttering?
I'm using TTGs Hv3
YouTube works fine but 1 channel and ice films in ts media are unwatchable.
It's not my broadband as ice films\1channel works perfect on my laptop

yeah im even after trying pli image which has oscam-svn9200 cam preinstalled but black screen, totally lost here as i would of thought a new image would solve it all but its exactly the same, if i can log into box with dcc means i have a internet connection with box surely it cant be any other file that needs changing in oscam the only one that needs configuring is oscam.server which ive done

have replaced the orginal audio.elf file on Hyperion V4 with a fix from a fix for V2.
Seems to be running fine
I had noticed that some audio was going slightly out of sync when watching a film., and also when flicking between channels, the audio would sometimes start after a delay (when using spdif).
Volume on channels seems consistant without autovolumeadjust.
Haven't fully checked it in regard surround quality yet. (Jools Holland on shortly, so will see then!)
But for those have issues with PKT audio , its worth a try. will put a copy of the file in the firmware thread

Im using an amiko alien, all channels working fine, but boxnation stopped working yesterday, it says tune failed when i go to channel, someone was telling me it changed frequency, anybody know how i can get it working again?

open it, press start, if it asks do you want to do a service scan or nit scan just press yes.

Is it autobouquets in the plugins part...or the one in the set up/service searching part?

Doesn't matter the one in set up is just a shortcut to the one in plugins. You should set it to run automatically every night

Ran autobouquets, boxnation is still coming up as tune failed, it was working fine up to yestrday. All other channels are fine.

Did you reboot, mine was gone too, ran autobouquets and rebooted and it's there now

Just scan it in manually if AB is giving you problems; 11680 V 27500

MENU > SETUP > SERVICE SEARCHING > MANUAL SCAN > TUNER B

Does Autotimer work properly for people ?
The reason I ask is that sometimes if I select Autotimer for a programme it seems to find nothing whilst for other programmes it does find them,it seems to be hit and miss .
I'm not a big user of Autotimer but it definitely seems to work better on my Dm800 although the settings on both seem identical.

I've installed Freshpot's image but when I try to scan terrestrial I keep getting a green screen. Anyone know what might cause that?

Its a problem with all hyperion images (or at least all I've used). You need to manually scan the two muxes in.

Running Enigma 2
Was using a Triax Tri Link to change channels as box was in another room.
It stopped working so used a web browser to change channels.
Decided to check out why channels would not change and found that neither the menu button on the front of the box or pointing the remote directly at the box would work. Can still change channels using web browser.

Can anybody help please ?

It's a new from scratch updated version of the image I prepared before with the latest OpenPli but it also includes an update script (credit to martinxp). To update the image telnet in and run "./Update_E2.sh"

You will need a 256MB swapfile enabled and mounted in the hddmountmanager plugin

As I'm based in Ireland this image is setup to suit satellite on 28e and Irish Terrestrial

What I have confirmed as installed and working:
Working for Irish terrestrial on T+ tuner (works set to Italy, do a full scan if you're not on Cairns Hill)
Working VFD on latest boxes (no red recording icon on latest VFD though)
Oscam (edit your details to the oscam.server file and restart oscam in Alternative SoftCam Manager plugin)
Autobouquets (set to London HD, older version not from repo that adds correct channel numbers in bouquets, 401 SS1 etc)
Rats picon updater (original is not working with this image, I've script modified to suit the location in this image)
Picons (Rats picons for satellite and ones for Irish terrestrial)
Hddmountmanager (external is mounted in /hdd, enable swapfile on first boot)
CrossEPG (daily 7AM)
CoolTVGuide (opens on EPG)
Autotimers
Samba server
Webinterface
Virtual Zap (set to exit button)
Cache flush (set to 15mins)

Not included:
1Channel, TSMedia, RTE player etc (I don't usually add them as they do not stay working for long before needing updates)

Notes:
A/V is set to 1080p 60hz
Audio is set to AC3 downmix
Streaming and recording two $ channels working
Be sure to create a 256MB swapfile in hddmount manager plugin on first boot (You'll get a green screen on cold boot, but the box boots fine after it restarts)
FTP User: root, pass: blank (to set a pass telnet in and run "passwd root" and it will ask for a pass)
Oscam port: 8888 user: root, pass: oscam

To update the image telnet in and run "./Update_E2.sh"

I know this is a fairly open question, but what would be the general consensus for the current best Enigma2 image on this box? (i.e fastest and most stable)

Hyperion V4, OpenARP, HDMU, OpenPLI etc.?

I'm on Hyperion V3 at the moment and was looking to use one of the newer images.
