    and although we would like that - I don't think the 2 people in question would! If they were an item it may work for ovbious reasons but it doesn't work for friends!

    Back on Topic! We defo closing off this date poll on Friday then? Give us a chance to pick a venue....and give someone....more than likely me, time to book it!

    I know some people have voted on it but would there be any complaintys to taking 18th off the list? there are other beers on that night that we don't want to gatecrash/take over with our own and this way we can have 2 serparate nights for people to go to the noc beers are the Nec Beers! (see what I did there? :pac: )

    I don't see me making it if it is on another night than the 18th. I am committed to the super mega beerz, (and presumably the noc if they are in the same venue) and therefor don't see me having more funding on another night (holidays to save for yakno)

    I'd like to throw my weight behind the Globe again - booking an area is easy - and free, the club is free into for those of you who want a dance, and the seats will still be there post dancing!

    I do like the Merc alright but it can be very crowded on a Saturday night.

    I wouldn't say no to somewhere like The Longstone.Nice pints,decent smoking area and never too crowded.
