I thought I were the only one who didn't eat biccies round here... not because because I don't like them. I do like them... a little too much... we have history me and biccies. I don't want to talk about it.

:pac: I just don't like them. Can't remember eating any after the age of about 8. I don't really like sweet things. Crisps are my downfall. :(

I think I will go and get that Kit Kat I bought earlier, and then gorge even further on Fruit Pastilles.

I'm the same, I don't like chocolate that much...like it's grand 'n all but I never got serious munchies for it.

I keep tricking myself into thinking I'm in relatively decent shape, and then I go to the cinema and watch a superhero film. Main dude in the new Kick-Ass is seriously ripped!

Sweet things have always been my downfall but I have it under control at this stage. In fact, after my outright biscuit ban, the thought of eating them turns my stomach.

Good morning by the way :)

All that biscuit talk over the weekend - someone I used to work with used to have one of those Pink & White biscuit things for her tea break BUT she would stick it in the microwave for 20-30 seconds first. It made the soft bit all gooey and smelled amazing all over the office. I wouldn't eat it though, lol.

How's everybody anyway, any weekend antics?

I had the dullest weekend on the planet but tomorrow is pay day so woohoo!

Get up to any antics yourself?

I've an exam on Thursday I was meant to study for. Needless to say, the house suddenly became very messy and there were a lot of other things that suddenly couldn't wait until after the exam.

Nice, I'm broke too so just chilled at home doing nothing - pay day Friday though. Might head to Dublin for the weekend & Kerry/Dublin match if I can get tickets, if so impromptu beers!

On Chapter 4 of the book. So only 15 to go. Should be able to skim through them tonight before doing the sample papers. Such boring stuff to read.

Do it right this time and you hopefully won't have to read them again (and repeat :P)

How come we always get a sudden interest in housework when there are other things to be done OR as soon as someone says they are on the way over to see you. They will only be there for an hour, you're there all week but you'll still clean every corner for them!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,227 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

Not forgetting it could take all day to clean the house normally but if someone's coming over. 30 mins has the house in a nice presentable shape.

Maybe I should invite people over.

Anyone wanna come to a house cleaning party?

I did my weekly room clean the other day - and now to mount clothes in heaps for the week

    It's a vicious circle!
