Cracking shot Stabo, you deserve credit for that one.

Strandhill is such an enjoyable course to play. Hope to play there in Easter, was nearly blown away there last Easter. It was that windy I couldn't reach the 9th green with a three wood, I kid you not!

I took this last summer in Moyvalley. Was trying to get used to the manual mode in my DSLR so not much is in focus :o
It's a view of the old Balyna House with the 17th green to the fore.

Playing down in Mulranny today, great day for it...

Looks a nice day. That's my home course. It's a lovely little 9 hole course with some lovely views. Although it is closed now due to flooding :D

Yip I had spotted from before that you were a member, I'm originally from Castlebar so I play it most times in am back home.
Love the place. Ya, we got a cracking day for it that day.

I was talking to a member at the weekend, apparently Patsy was rallying the troops for a clean up operation last Saturday. How is the place looking now?

This is a superb picture but kind of depressing me as I look out the window at yet more torrential rain. A day like that in the pic seems a long way away :(

I thought it was either the 3rd or 4th, but from where the photo is taken from I would expect the sea where Knocknarea is.

    Fab shot though!

Pretty sure its the 7th. Who cares, its a great shot.

But its a very hard course to 'pass by'

Gorgeous Course Rathcore. Great images above.

I only played it once and came along to what I think is that hole above? Is it a par 3 with a tree on the right hand side? I said to my playing partner...no point being clever here..I'm baling out over to the right, even if I clip the tree I'd need to be very unlucky to be blocked off. I did, it hit the tree and ended up at the base of it with the only option to play back towards the tee !! :(

So next time I play it I'm going straight at the flag !!

Yep its the 11th. Its a nice hole but right is better than left and with the elevation I find it cab play 2 clubs shorter depwnding on how your hitting :)

    The 3rd @ The Old Bray G.C

Love playing this dog leg every time, risk and reward kinda hole into a two tier green. Course ain't what it was but handy to go down and smack a few instead of a mat at a range when possible.

Photos taken a few months back.

I have to say that this course has some of the most spectacular backdrops in world golf. Such a great course to have in that environment. The greens last weekend were just unbelievable. One of my favourite events on the European Tour

Cheers! Yep that was 3 wks ago in awful rain and wind! Very very wet to be honest, i thought it was a brilliant course but im not going back until april or so for singles! Every hole is different, you can see why the challenge tour play there
