How Many Countries Have You Travelled To??

How many countries have you travelled to througout your life?

No this is not a pissing contest, I did this on a uk forum and just want to see how irish people compare. My suspicion is that Irish people are better travelled than British people.

I recognise there was a massive thread on this on where people have travelled. But I'm not so interested in where you've travelled, but how many nations/states/territories you've travelled.

    I've been to 23 states/territories:

England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Republic Of Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Spain, San Marino, Faroe Islands, Greece, Estonia, Tunisia, Portugal, Czech Republic, U.A.E, Australia

I decided not to include the UK as one country this time (although some say it should be), so for the purpose of this poll I'm including states and territories as well (Vatican city counts for example). I included Northern Ireland just for sake of political correctness, not on belief so people can just list 'Ireland' if they want.

Meh its ok considering I'm only 25 I think, obviously I'd like to be more travelled. How about you guys??

    Let's see....

Well I've been to Nice and the isle of Greece when I sipped champagne on a yacht.
I moved like Harlow in Monte Carlo and showed them what I've got
I've been undressed by kings and I've seen some things that a woman ain't s'pose to see
I've been to paradise but I've never been to me...

England, France, Spain, Greece, Croatia, U.S.A. (California), Lanzarote, Italy, Finland - Think that's it.

    So 9?
I've been to a few of them a few times though.

10 if you include Northern Ireland.

Then you would have to ask whether the other regions in Spain should count separately, particularly places with a unique language such as the Basque Country!

Only 6 so far, Ireland, Northern Ireland (for a days shopping), England, Sweden, Austria, Czech Republic and USA.

In fairness, I had a late start. I was 20 when I left Ireland for the first time. In transition year in school we had to write about our trip to a foreign country, I was one of only 2 that had never left Ireland, had to write about a trip to Dublin :(
