Need advice about Illness benefit claim please

Does anyone know weather a payment for a qualified adult is reinstated automatically to a social welfare recipient after it was terminated due to the working spouse claiming illness benefit for two weeks out of work sick. Also the rate for dependent children was cut in half. The spouse is now fit to go back to work but I am not sure if any allowances we had will return automatically or not.
Any advice is much appreciated.
