Is it just me, or does it seem like quite a few threads in this forum lately descend into arguments?

You can ask to be temporarily banned, lots of people do it if they have exams coming up and stuff :)
I never thought of that!! :)

You could go change your password to something random that you then forget (never knew). Then, when you want to get back in, use the 'forgot password' link...

Tiny ears are better than massive ears :D

True, but it's still awkward having ears so small that headphones won't stay in and hurt after a while!

The Maynooth train takes 40 mins to get to Drumcondra, might be worth a shot?

Edit: Acoshla we are ear twins

Goes through cycles like everything else, IMO.

One of my mates is driving me crazy. She gave up the drink and found God. She lives in the US and her entire FB and emails etc are now all about that random interventionist in the sky.

I'm thrilled that she's not drinking anymore, she was killing herself, but it pains me to see her putting down her successes to someone other than herself. That and the slightly condescending tone when it comes to me having a drink of a weekend.

In fairness, she was like this when she got married too, like she had the whole thing figured out after a couple of months with a guy and that I was in an unhealthy relationship (becuase it's not a perfect vomitus fairytale).

Still, everytime we're together we get on great like we were never apart. Maybe it's an element of the long-distance friendship that doesn't work between us. Maybe I annoy her just as much! :pac:

I don't usually use headphones that much, using a cheapy pair at the moment for my new found love of walks with mp3 player.

Somebody make me get off my ass and work, anybody? It's FOUR in the afternoon and I have yet to do any work :o

Go for walk? Spurred on by the fact that I look a few pounds thinner in my jeans after two weeks of eating relatively well and walking a bit I'm off for another walk, music, doggy and a cup of tea at the end of it in my friend's house, good times :) I like this not working lark, tis great.

Spent the afternoon out in the garden! Doing ****e, clearing stuff, brushing etc.. and watching the doggies...

Then I sorted out my garda clearance forms and dropped them down to the station, sent off a parcel for something I've sold..... Mission accomplished! Now, I have all afternoon! I gots dinner already made so I'm going to read my bookie!

I can't use those in ear phones at all, have one ear that finds them painful to use. It's awkward, because my phone only came with those ones, and I don't know if I can get different ones for it, so can't listen to my music or the radio on it.

Got out for a run today :) it was good, not too warm. except for when a couple of scumbag teenagers started hassling the animals in the park. Twats.

And for post work out food, I had quorn curry with veggies, and instead of rice, a salad on the side... that's healthy right? :o

Ooooh I'd love to go out for dinner tonight, but I went out for breakfast, lunch and dinner yesterday so I probably should show some restraint :D

Edit: Bluewolf, I think your next cake-baking adventure should be to make this. And then instead of bringing it to work you should give it to meeeeee :D
