I'm pretty happy with SuperNexus Build 2, with the Siyah kernel the memory leak isn't bad. I'm using this app to give me back notification tray toggles: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.painless.pc&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5wYWlubGVzcy5wYyJd

Have you tried Ressurrection Remix JB? Similar to SuperNexus but better as things like the toggles in the notification drawer are already built in ;-)

    Cheers,

My plan was to stay on stock for a while but I'm twitching to flash something. How you finding this ROM? Many bugs? Is it usable as a daily driver?

Loving it so far! Memory leak issue which all the JB ROMS have is only issue for me! It no big deal...

    Cheers,
    M

That memory leak is gonna be in all JB ROM's until Samsung release some code. They're usually pretty good with leaking unofficial beta's though, so shouldn't be long. The JB planned official release is next month

I actually thought it was a Google issue to fix and nothing to do with Samsung!??

From what I've read it's related to Samsung hardware, releasing the source code will fix it (or a firmware containing a fix). At the moment the ROM makers are reverse engineering based on JB for the Nexus, different hardware.

Was the same story with SGS1, it wasn't until Samsung released the beta's that the bugs got fixed.

The sooner the better but stock on GS3 is pretty fast! Can it actually get any faster? Also, what other benefits will JB bring??

    Cheers,
    M

It's not that great. I'm on 88% after 6.5hrs with light usage (a few calls, about 6 or 7 texts, some data)...

Is there really any point flashing customer ROMs what with the memory leaks issue?

I'd rather stock to be honest until these problems are ironed out.

Supernexus ROM is great but battery not too good for now and the memory leak not fixed yet.

Installed CM9 Stable release this morning - so far looking better than Supernexus/CM10

What is the best rom to use? I am looking for a vanilla android interface.

Being honest I good launcher and theme may suit me better since I bricked a one X doing that before...

SuperNexus is vanilla Android from the Nexus (AOSP)

    Hey mate,
Any time I went back to stock I used Mskip's Tool-kit over on XDA, have you tried it? I never had an issues after I flashed stock with it. It's a fantastic and handy tool-kit!

    Cheers,
