Went in to pick it up in hmv this morning, saw it had risen to €48 and no Tyson dlc or DVD or wristband. They also wouldn't take my game trade ins because of a few scratches. Saw they had max Payne 3 for €16. Picked that up instead :(

Might get wwe in a few weeks if its cheaper and opinions are good

That's mental.. Can they do this considering it was advertised all along as 44.99?

unfortunately it seems to be something that most shops are doing now :(

ugh, havent played my Xbox in over a year so have to install a massive update :(
Got mine in Smyths... was €54.99 which I knew beforehand but I have a game loyalty card to get discount ( which I bloody forgot!!! ). But they had 3 Tyson editions left over so went ahead and got it anyway.

Just picked it up for 45 in HMV haven't checked for Tyson dlc but I don't care about that. Had to ask for the Dvd but got it after a wait. Picked up AC III too and got a sexy looking steelbook with that, quite pleased with it. Not pleased about my 2:45 doctors appointment though :-(

Been downloading some songs for when I start throwing the videos together.

    This will definitely feature.

    Quick q for you lads.

Casual gamer here, not much time to play these days. Used to get every new wrestling game back in the PS1 days and early PS2 releases. Then a huge gap. SvR 11 for the 360 has been my only wrestling game in years, have enjoyed it enough but just wondering is the gameplay on this new one worth upgrading for.

I was an attitude era fan so that alone is enough to convince me to buy it but if the gameplay isn’t up to scratch I’ll just hold off until it comes way down in price.

First impressions from those who have it (particularly if you’ve played SvR 11 too and can compare), should I buy now? On my way into town soon so is it worth the 50 odd notes? :)

Oh and what are HMV like for trade ins? Ages since I’ve traded in anything, do you get a decent price back?

    Cheers lads :)

The game play is not unsimlar to svr11, but has been improved. The grappling is now done via buttons rather than with an analogue. The collision detection is a lot better now too.

Can anyone with the 360 version let me know if you need a Gold Live membership to access CC? I'm thinking of switching to the 360, but I don't wanna fork out for Gold. If it's required I'll stick to the PS3.

That's what I was afraid of. Looks like I'll be sticking with the PS3. Hopefully some of the good CAW makers make their way to PS3 now that we have 64 layers too.

I just completed the montreal screwjob! Class! One bad point is that when there is an interview in-ring between Vince, Shawn & Triple H - when they mention wwf, the f in wwf is not heard. They surely should have put in new audio instead of using an old recording because it sounds terrible. On the plus side, the servers are lightening fast when downloading community creations.:D

Best to answer that in Spoiler tags.

I didn't pre-order as I did for WWE12 and paid premium shipping and 2 weeks after release received nothing - just a refund.

So I picked it up in Xtra-Vision today, had the Mike Tyson edition on the shelf but not the one they gave me. Not too bothered - it's only Mike Tyson.

Got it this morning. Pretty impressed so far. Played through a bit of Attitude mode, was lots of fun. Won't be playing it again til Sunday when I'm back down for college.

One gripe I have us the audio seems to be all over the place, crowd noise is too loud and some commentary is a bit off - commentators announcing the winner as the superstar who lost.

Other than that it seems solid. Can't wait to get into universe mode.....I just don't know where to go with it :P

Playing through it now - doing the attitude mode. Currently Shawn Michaels v Bulldog. Game feels marginly more smooth than WWE 12, but not by much. Good so far.

    Really enjoying it..

Completed the DX and Stone Cold Attitude storys so far. Thought they were great.

Downloading CAWs, arenas etc from Xbox live is lightning quick towards last year.

Bought it in hmv with football manager 13.... Ave a old Xbox that requires a wireless Xbox connector so can't download caws, gutted.... I used to manually put in the caws after gettin the formulas online but less and less people do that now.... Can you still pick up Xbox wireless Internet connectors???? I'm really missin out on online gamin for years

That was an awesome match for me. What difficulty u playing on?

Same here re old xbox and not online. I'm not sure its worth the investment when I am not a regular gamer. Every year I buy Fifa and WWE, play for a while in winter then move on when early summer appears.

Also hate idea of buying the game then having to pay to download more wrestlers.

I can wait till next time to get Cesaro I think.

The create-an-arena is awesome....so much depth and so many options. I think classic storylines is awesome.

There seems to be a lot of reversals though. Every third move seems to be a reversal!

I love The Rock storylines...he is The Great One :D
