    You call that a "Knife?"
    This is a "Knife:"

Joke aside that gold console is pretty slick!

Yeah the artwork on the original 3DS Zelda edition is pretty slick. Fecked if I'm buying another 3DS though, the 3DS XL is the only way to go. Looking forward to the system transfer :o

I would definitely like the bigger screen, but as you put it; "Fecked if I'm buying another 3DS though" :)

Ah but this is an XL, I've been wanting one for ages so the Zelda edition was the only choice. What I meant was I'd like the Zelda edition of the original 3DS, but having an original 3DS already means I'm not forking out for one. And honestly, I don't find them a very comfortable handheld at all at all. The XL is drastically more comfy

3DS XL all the way thank you very much.
Better ergonomics for people with non miniature hands :)

    +1
Butas a miniature handed person I still find it comfortable, it's the screen size I like since I need glasses to focus I think there's less pressure. When I see a normal 3DS now though it's like a postage stamp

Really want an XL myself but it was a pain in the hoop already getting a US small one.

    Picked up an Amiga A500 with;
    - what looks like a 512mb memory module in the expanion slot
    - micro switch 'CompPro' type of joystick
    - modulator for those who want componsite/RF
    - a bunch of disks (lots of copies)
    - one of the heaviest PSUs I've ever lifted
    - one of those FIFA games in box, unsure why this is boxed but nothing else is

Might be flogging/swapping this, kinda an impulse buy :pac:

Give it a good test. The battery inside those babies can leak all over the place.

    Edit:
Or is it only the Amiga 500+ that has the battery? My A500+ has/had one.

Looks like the A500+ as its the realtime clock backup battery. You didn't get a realtime clock on the A500 it seems

GTI Club for the Wii has touched down at last, over two weeks to get here from Germany!
The packaging is all in German so here's hoping the in game language switches with the preset language of the console.
Otherwise its still ok, its a fairly straight forward game, just be nice to understand the missions in the other modes.

So, this landed today. Gorgeous I must say, delighted with it, & takes the sting out of selling off my cabs :o Now, to pack it away until Xmas so I can enjoy a new Zelda game the way it should be enjoyed...by beginning it on Xmas day :)

    I want!

But I really hate the way the games are coming pre-installed, give me a case and cart god damnit Nintendo! Don't I deserve it after buying your tat since the early 90s, even the bloody N64.
It's not true that I've been buying all my stuff second hand since my gameboy in 1990.
I've only bought 2 new nintendo consoles, the n64 and GameCube. And I've maybe bought 20 games new through the years.

I suppose there's nothing to stop you from buying the physical copy later on, most PSN+ titles I really like I'll buy the originals of, like Uncharted 3 and Motorstorm Apocalypse.
Same will go for the preloaded games on the Ninty machines.

Yeah same, the collector in me, especially when it comes to Zelda stuff, wants the physical version. One semi-good thing though, it's a download code afaik, not pre-installed...meaning I can sell it on & pick up a physical copy :)

If only perhaps there was monetary solution to that dilemma.

So, after testing, the good news is that GTI Club is playing in English, the game itself plays like an early PS game, at this point anyway.
    Still, nice to have.

Ordered this fella off the Nintendo UK site - the GF's present to me :) 3DS number 4, but only the second EU one and second XL. Tempted to keep Zelda alongside this til Christmas day myself now, reckon that'd be great!

Wow, everyone owns multiple 3ds handhelds, no one owns more than one Vita, if at all.
    Poor Sony.

Well, Amazons black friday deals continue and, while I missed Rayman Legends :( , I did pick up Disney Infinity for €41 delivered, so that's a good discount on the €70 odd it's going for round these parts.

Due to the above sale I now have a promo of the new Adventure Time game for the PS3, I'll stick it up on the market place for the price I bought it for.

I had 3 at one stage, but sold one on. I still have my original Jap one I got over there on launch day/week with the original non upgraded firmware, and a normal one i got in a shop over here on latest firmware.
I use neither of them :)
My 3DS XL is in my bag here in work as it always is.

A game I've wanted for a long long time arrived in the post today. A bit annoyed at the postman just left it on the doorstep, and didn't hear a knock on the door as I was here this morning, but anyway:

Everything is in mint, unused condition. It was opened but just not used. Comes complete with everything. Cost about €50 posted which was a little more than I wanted to pay, but I'm really happy with the condition. Getting that bit closer to a complete Pokémon game set! Now just to get an N64 passport to play it or an NTSC N64.

3 vitas in my house now, 2 are mine and one's the gf's. Picked up one of the originals at launch and a couple of the new slim ones in Tokyo recently, which I really like, regardless of the lack of OLED.
