I'm ashamed to admit it but Gal Gun might just be the best lightgun game I've played in a very long time. It's actually a lot of fun. I was surprised to see Inti Creates were the guys behind it, they had old school cred having made Megaman 9, 10 and the Zero games.

It's actually quite tame and pretty hilarious. There's gratuitous panty shots but at least the first boss with all it's tentactles didn't get out of hand.

The one weird thing is that there's no headshots in the game. Instead the one hit kill is performed with an 'ecstasy' shot were by you hit the girls in the crotch with your... love.

Did alright in Rage today. Desert Strike, Jungle Strike and Talmit's Adventure boxed with manual for 22 euro. I better stop buying **** this week. I finally won an auction for Terranigma as well, fingers crossed it arrives.

Received some retro filth today. Was going for anywhere between €100-1000 online, although GameSexChange had a copy in the window for 50 euro. The initial print run was really limited, so it had exploded in price after receiving some media coverage recently. But it's getting a reprint now so expect the value to fall dramatically (I got it for free so can't complain). Primarily notable for being the debut of a creator who would go on to do bigger & better (?) things. Released in 1989 just before the Megadrive and SNES, it marks somewhat of a transition period where people were willing to rock the boat a bit, challenge us all with some more provocative content that would have been expected. Its steamy content seems a bit tame in these days of GalGun, but our history is important.

I am of course talking about the one, the only:
