    OLD/10
Also you can use component or composite cables to get SD or HD pictures if you are using your HDMI port already, or need the sound to go through a mixer or something that doesn't have HDMI in.

Yeah, they're their new prices; if you had it pre-ordered before the increase you get it at the old price, which is what he's quoting

Want to pick up a few games on friday aswell most places are €59.99 a game or even €69.99 anyone see cheaper anywhere cant find any prices for tesco or xtra vision

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,120 ✭✭✭✭Star Lord

Zavvi.com seem to have the best prices I've seen so far for the games, but you'd probably have to wait a few days for them.

HMV have Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros U for €52.99 each on the display shelf in Grafton Street.

These were posted a few days ago. Hopefully they're correct

Tesco were 59.99 for new releases before it was cool and Xtravision are rarely the cheapest. I think we'll have to suck it up and fork out 60 each, or hint at them for christmas presents like i'm doing with Assassin's Creed! I'd say by March Amazon should be reasonable on price...

Isn't there a possibility of custom charges with zavvi?

No I am nearly sure they are based in Europe ordered from them a couple of times and was never charged customs but they are very slow on delivery times usually 6-7 working days

No, Zavvi are UK based, as Evilbart mentioned.
Play.com are Jersey based, so outside of the EU and you'd possibly have to pay there.

ah ok thanks for the info.
I know zavvi are part of thehut.com group who are based in Guernsey and Jersey, that's why I wasn't sure where they ship from

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,120 ✭✭✭✭Star Lord

I've ordered from them without issue in the past.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,693 ✭✭✭Deano7788

I got the Resi Evil Revelations and Circle Pad Pro bundle from them at the start of the year and there were no problems

WILL I BE CHARGED CUSTOMS AND IMPORT CHARGES?

Orders being placed for delivery outside of the UK may be subject to customs charges or import duties which are levied by the importing country at the time the delivery arrives in your country.

These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot advise what the cost may be (customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country).

I've never been charged a cent, and I use zavvi or thehut for pretty much every game I've bought for the past 3 or 4 years.

    ZombiU (Wii U) - Games Wii-U On or before 7th December * €45.8

    Wii U Pro Controller - Black - Wii-U Accessories On or before 7th December * €39.83

New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U) On or before 7th December €47.97
    Weeee~
    Should arrive on Monday.

Nyko's Charge Link for the Wii U lets you simultaneously charge and play with the Wii U GamePad or Pro Controller. The flat cable design limits tangles, and it features a Velcro strap for clean and convenient storage. Unique woven cable shielding improves cable durability. Will also charge Nintendo DS Lite, DSi, DSiXL, 3DS or 3DS XL. 6' long.

6 foot long isn't bad. Don't get how it charges the others though.

    Never heard of nyko..
    They make stuff.

They all have the same power connector, just like the original DS had the same connector as the Gameboy Advance SP.
