Small double for right about now

Porto (-1) @ 4/5
Ajax (-1) @ 2/5

Both should win comfortably from what bit of research ive done

• Registered Users Posts: 922 ✭✭✭Fitzcal

Ajax to win both halves@evens looks like a value bet.
Small bet on Ajax -1 firsthalf@6\4.

Someone highlighted Chelsea are bad at corners here the other day.

Most corners Newcastle is 7/2 or +3 is 1/1

anyone have a clue if Newcastle win many?

Newcastle won the corner count 3-2

Chelsea very rarely looked like winning any corners.
They only won 1 corner last week against Wigan aswell,
it could be something worth keeping an eye on I think before the bookies spot it.

RvP any time assist @5,5

Think this season he will not score as many as last season but will have more assist than last.

Reason is that he will not have to do everything on his own anymore with Rooney and Kagawa around him.

Did a patent of Kuyt any time (1.91)/Michu anytime (2.75)/Rvp any time assist which work out, if all 3 do their job €150 for a €15 total stake (7x €2.14)

2 from 3. Tiny profit.

All together @7.85

Anyone else liking the odds on City tomorrow? I just dont rate this Liverpool team at all from the Manager to the poor summer signings. Plus they havent shown anything so far in the Europa league to PL that they'll beable to match City

My main bet will be Tevez to score and city to win @ 3/1

I hope you wait till you know the line ups.
Mancini and his rotations have screwed me a bit too often.

Hard to find much value in the Rangers game in the morning,
Rangers to win both halves@5/6
Rangers -1 first half@7/5
Both look good value but over 40pts in the card index looks about as nailed on as you can get.
Rangers average around 3 cards per game and the opposition teams so far this season have all had at least 2.
Over 30@8/11 and over 50@16/5 for those that are interested.

In my opinion, just mine, it's not the posters fault. It should be up to the mods to put a note in the first thread of what you can and can't do.
:)

Have you brought this up with a mod (myself or xpyro)?

I've always said in the past that if people want a quick response to a query, then simply PM the mods. I'll gladly reply on Twitter for those who also use it as well.

If people wish to create another thread, by all means do it. If you want a rule established for bets to be coupled with discussion, reasoning or whatever people want to call it, I'll enforce it. Perhaps I'll change this thread name too.

This is a throw away comment and one for the in play thread Tom. You full well know that you been warned numerous times about this in the past. If others (ie: the vast majority of posters) can avoid doing this, then you have no excuse.

Look in the top left hand corner of your screen when your viewing the "Challenges/Logs" forum and there will be a "New thread" option.

In all probability City should win, but Liverpool have an uncanny ability to lift it for games involving the bigger teams and had a very good record against them last year - I expect the same will happen this year and it's their first home game of the season.

Houston Dynamo
Houston Dynamo v Toronto FC
(Full Time Result)
8/15
San Jose Earthquakes
San Jose Earthquakes v Colorado Rapids
(Draw No Bet)
1/4
Toluca
Tigres v Toluca
(Draw No Bet)
2/1

All top teams with good winning streaks(SJ Earthquakes & Houston Dynamo unbeaten at home in the past few matches) Toluca on the other hand have won there last 5 games and Tigres have been touch and go.

Nice return on it, gonna stick a fiver on it to hopefully get money for tomorrow.

Paddypower sucks. I can't find any matches.

West Brom win or draw (vs Spurs) @ 2.60

They beat Pool 3-0 and Spurs' manager is AVB...

Glad to see betting against AVB's team is still profitable :)

This looks too good to be true and will prolly turn out to be another Bordeaux (vs Red Star) or Monaco (vs Laval) but next week Montpellier are @ 2.30 against Sochaux, Sochaux are one of the worst teams in the league, lost their first 3 games and they just lost against Reims who are imo the weakest team in the league, Sochaux's RB got a red card in that game so he'll be suspended against Montpellier, he's one of their best players... So if it's another Bordeaux/Monaco then maybe it's worth backing the draw or CS 0-0 as that's what happened in those 2 games...
