I reckon the bookies thought santos would rest players but there arent. Really nice odds on the double chance imo

Chile also lost their best striker to utd

    get in there

    Bookies got that totally wrong.

Something's not right with the Bordeaux game... the odds on Bordeaux are still pretty high and even rose a little bit today. Bordeaux's coach said he will take this game very seriously but he also said it's a two legged affair and he would be okay with losing 1-0 away and winning 2-0 in Bordeaux...

Looking at maybe doing an accumulator like this..

    To win:
    Lazio and Steaua Bucharest

    Double chance:
    CSKA Moscow,Marseille,Liverpool,Levante and Bordeaux

I think Liverpool is probably the biggest risk here, but personally I can't see them lose, Scottish clubs are just terrible. Can get this @3.67

Just wondering if anyone has any opinions on what I should chuck out of it, or did I miss anything silly :D

opinions on this treble for the weekend, Man Utd vs Fulham, Southampton vs Wigan and Wolves vs Derby. Putting 30 on to win 140 with paddypower

I fancy Utd to beat Fulham by a few goals at least. Fulham were really poor away from home last season. Banker.

Southampton have the first home game back in the PL factor going for them, but id be cautious to see if Wigan can continue their really great form from the end of last season. They played well againest chelsea after their terrible start to the game. Dodgy.

Wolves is another hard one to call. Its a midlands derby, and honestly I couldn't call it yet as little evidance to show how both teams are set up to do this season yet . Dodgy.

tottenham to beat west brom ,looks a nice safe bet
manchester to beat fulham? after their last game i would say it will be a draw but who knows united are a hard bunch to bet on,since their odds are always so short

chelsea to beat new castle , that is the biggest danger out of the 3
    i wouldnt do it
i think new castle will beat them, purely because i think new castle play the better football, and are a stronger team overall

but if ya do the 3 anyway
good luck mate wish you all the best
    wouldnt be my kinda bet

Wouldnt be too confident of chelsea, last year was 2-0 to toon this very fixture , out of last 4 games against newcastle at d bridge chelsea only won once ... odds of 8/15 for home win is a joke in my view especially considering reading should have drawn with em last night (torres offside and the last goal was just a result of the keeper going up for corner) ... also think newcastle have deadly squad this year.. be interesting to see does europa league away tonight mess them up for the weekend... id fancy chelsea but id steer clear of it odds too poor

for me i think the first week results dont count for much united will want to give a statement of intent there already 3 points behind city city have a tricky game at liverpool its early but its a chance to possibly make up some ground

chelsea look brilliant going forward and as much as i think newcastle are a decent side dont now if there defence can hold out imo it wont also they will be playing in greece two days before in the europa league which will disrupt there plans chelsea should be fresher despite playing tuesday extra couple days rest and not leaving the country will make in impact

thanks for your input kind of convinced myself to lump on this lol

Levante, Newcastle, Liverpool, Barca and Bordeux tonight. 5er pays 118.

    Thoughts please?

  • Registered Users Posts: 191 ✭✭Higgytash

Have €45 on Barcelona to score both halves 13/10 absolute great price imo (paddypower) ... bARCELONA will be determined to beat them after losing here last year i can see them going all out try and destroy madrid... Madrid also missing Pepe ... Barca 5 goals the weekend also, the way the two teams play pure attack minded i can see loads of goals and think this is d bet of the day

    Yeah id be careful here.

Worst thing about gambling on the Europa league is you never know if they are taking it seriously or not.

Think thats a pretty fair assessment. So for the odds you'd think its a no go

Yeah they beat Hajduk 3-0 away then lost 2-0 at home. They won't lose this 2-0.
They'll be keen to win this.

I've changed my bet anyways, gone for CSKA & Hannover DNB. Works out @2.10

Well you could do a safer bet, but who knows.

Southampton and Wolves could both very well win also.

    Both games are very balanced.

From my track record both will probably win and Utd will mess up. Its normally the team i really fancy that lets me down.
