The temperature in my area south of Limerick city took a drop from around 24° to 17° c in the last couple of hours. Heavy clouds nearby but the sun is still appearing.

Not a very pleasant afternoon in Cork harbour. It began to cloud over by noon and by 4 pm this afternoon we were in a very steady downpour of rain, very little wind & flat calm on the water. The skies have finally cleared by 6 pm and the sun is shining, drying up all the rain.

A little bit of heat haze this morning in Collooney , its going to be another beautiful day.

In Dromahair, in the sun trap that is my garden, its 24.4c . Just a by the by, I planted some seeds on thursday evening, and lo and behold, there was shoots this morning! (The packet said they would take a week to two weeks before shoots would show )
