Blue with big exhaust is me all right.
Few blues around the city but mine is the loudest :P

Yep I know the guy with the red one all right.
He keeps it spotless, it's an original type of stripe all right.
You wont see another one with that around.

Gets better. Thos 54.5 MPG are US MPG. That's actually 65.5 UK MPG they're trying to archive.

Those 29 Highway MPG in the ad might be US MPG, but since it was on boards, lets asume it's UK MPG. So that's only 24 US MPG then :)

Heading to Dublin airport tomorrow lads and parking in bewleys for the week. Route seems easy as pie from cork, nothing strange to look out for? Will be hitting dublin/m50 about 2 o clock, any traffic or road restrictions at the moment?Flying out of terminal 2. First time flying out of 'the big one' :)

Was on the M50 yesterday from Blanch to Tallaght and back and it was grand, same from Blanch to Ballymun earlier and it was grand as well. Terminal 2 was a fine terminal I thought when I flew out from it a few months ago. Not really much shops but its sufficient enough. Well planed and layed out.

No problems at all on the m50 at the moment. Bewleys is well handy as well, just don't forget to pay your toll!!

Is anyone else watching "Ireland's worst roads" on 3e at the moment.
They are making some good points but don't seam to understand that a speed limit is a LIMIT not a target:rolleyes:

That's most likely because they don't want to patronise their viewers :)

So, woke up to a letter from Opel saying my car is subject to a safety recall  A real pain, have to bring the car out to Airside and be without it for the day because there may be a problem with the brakes, 4 years later!

    Demand a free replacement.

I'm going to give them a call in a bit and try just that. Apparently there's a possibility of a fault with the Brake Pedal Bearings which could lead to complete loss of braking!!!

Don't be so surprised, there are a number of warranty extensions/goodwill gestures that VW UK are making that VW Ireland refuse to acknowledge.

That happens with more than VW ;) Nearly any company that have warranty extensions or anything like that almost never extend it to Ireland.

Thats ridiculous! Apparently the problem is, that in cases of emergency braking, the bearings have cracked causing complete loss of braking. I would have thought that would be a pretty urgent fix.

Why do they make battery connections so difficult to remove in some cars. I cannot for the life of me get the negative terminal off the Porsche. Battery is flat and my jump-start pack is dead too. Sigh

Thinly veiled 'I have a Porsche' post.

    Kidding, kidding! :pac:
