    As far as I'm aware only Administrators can (but they promise not to without good reason)...

    They can't, unless it's reported the all the admins can read the reported PM.

    I think I remember one of the tech guys who maintain the site say that while
    It was technically possible to access pm's it would take a lot of work and for what? Lame assed flirting etc.

    Fair enough, I know it's possible with vBulletin but maybe it's not implemented on here.

    Yeah I remember that. I think Dev said they'd only do it if they had a legal reason to do so.

    I've gotten a few, mainly from other posters asking for advice/information on matters that they think I might know something about. If I've been able, I've been glad to try and help.:)

    A couple of times, after I've posted comments supporting legalisation, regulation and taxation of drugs, I've had PMs from persons asking where they could score some dope in or around Laois, and I've always replied and told them to ask some of their colleagues in the drugs squad in Portlaoise.:D:D

    Just checked my numbers: 50 in, 44 out (I'm apparently slightly selfish).

    So not too many. They're mostly nice, which I'm surprised at as I've annoyed quite a few people, especially lately. Must try harder.

    The odd time - usually from people I'm already pals with anyway, or following up something on a thread, or a disciplinin' :o or abuse. :pac:

    Very occasionally I'll get unsolicited ones from randomers I hitherto had no dealings with - sometimes in relation to something I contributed to a sexual thread when drunk, other times apropos nothing, other times to say "So... how's life?"
    They're not gonna be answered! :pac:
