I just read that the protein in the egg is digested easier when its raw. What sort a foods can I add to my diet to help gain muscle.

I think its actually the reverse, cooked egg is processed better.

As for foods eat lots of
    Eggs
    Milk
    Meat
    Peanut butter

Yes, I've read the protein is easier for the body to handle if the egg is cooked.

I used to eat four raw ones in a pint glass with milk. Rotten, like snots crawling down the throat. I don't think there is much of a risk of salmonella. Like 1 in 20,000 or something.

To be totally hardcore you have to pop the egg into your mouth whole and eat shell and all. One of my "legendary" drunk ideas. Other greats included opening cans of beer by jabbing them with my middle finger.

First they came for the socialists...

    hi op,

i use to do this a lot befor christmas, about four a day but had to cut back because i felt it interfered with my cardio but overall its a good way of creating mass.
orgainc eggs are by far the best raw as opposed to normal factory ones which make me wanna barf.

its true that the protein in cooked eggs are better but raw eggs are as covienient as drinking a protein shake

people get too hung up on protein consumption
hard work in the gym is the most important

    Just avoid microwaving them.

I would probably avoid milk if your worried about digestion problems.

Most humans don't digest milk to easily.

Coconut or almond milk is a good alternative.

    Why is this?

I boil mine in water in the microwave, I wonder if the microwaves are even reaching the eggs, or if the water has absorbed all the microwaves by that time -meaning it should be the same as boiling in a pot.

Best brekkie you can have for bodybuilding is and this is what I take

    Bowl of oats
3 egg yokes and 6 egg whites scrambled
    1 lamb chop
1 wholewheat bagel toasted with peanut butter and jelly
    1 digestive enzyme pill
    1 scoop protein shake
    cod liver oil
    casseine

U asked dude, but cook the eggs, I used to take them raw, but am making much better gains by cooking them

microwaving food can effect the moleculas of that particular food plus when the eggs arn't cooked they don't reach there full nutrient potential

It's always best to cook food without using a microwave.

Eat the egg as well the yolks are the best and most nutritional part of the egg. The whole eating the whites thing is old school and all from the "cholesterol will give you a heart attack" days which we all know is BS

Cooking all food can affect the nutrients. Studies have show that microwaves actually cause less damage than other forms like boiling or roasting. Steaming comes out the best.

The idea that microwaves are are harmful is an old school knee jerk reaction and most people know its BS.

You kind of jumped over the question there.

Yes microwaving food affects the molecules. It makes them vibrate and move about which causes warmth. I think the question being asked here is why is that bad, or at the very least why is that not good?
