Continuing my theme of early in the last decade I'm going to vote for this:

I'm gonna throw this in for this week:

The Mars Volta's debut De-Loused in the Comatorium

Fans of the band might have something to say about this being the choice for recommendation, but it's probably the best introduction to the band. Absolutely stunning album with no filler whatsoever.

Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf

One of my favorite albums when I was younger, so said I would throw it up as my vote for the week

Oh my god, too many quality albums to choose from this week, every nomination is a dinger in my eyes! I'll have to decide who to vote for later in the week....

Gojira - The way of all flesh.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,688 ✭✭✭Nailz

I never realised Songs For The Deaf wasn't on the list, I was going to nominate a 7th different album, but seeing as such a quality one like that is already put forward there's no point in doing that.

+ 1 Songs For The Deaf

I'm going to leave a reminder here for next week as to what I was going to nominate; Colony :)

It was between De-Loused in the Comatorium and Songs for the Deaf for me, but I'm gonna have to:
