Whats involved for members of authorised clubs who want to reload ammunition, Is there now a permit system in place that allows reloading as long as safety and training issues have been addressed, thanks.

I'm no expert but... I think it's still only the pilot scheme in MNSCI ... as they were the only club to put forward for it at the time and the security and regulations in place are serious ... Bunkers etc!!... you have to be on a list or registered with the DOJ as member of midlands and involved in long range shooting. Again ... I'm no expert and stand to be corrected... I sure some that knows more will be along soon.

The only reloading scheme being run at the moment is the one in the Midlands. The reloading is open to members of the F-Class team, and now with the new Development squad there are new opportunities to expand on reloading.

You still must be a member of the Middlands because (as said above) the security requirements are quite vast, and only members of the midlands are eligible to get onto the scheme.

There are no other clubs/ranges running such a scheme, and there is no licensing system in place to grant other clubs/ranges permission.

Might be a silly question but do they sell Target ammo to non club licence holders or is it limited to FTR shooters. The reason I ask Remington match ammo is getting saucy ,

All componant parts of ammunition are strictly controlled, and sold ONLY to members of the reloading scheme. Any members of the range NOT on the reloading scheme cannot buy these parts. Plus each componant is ordered as per the shooters requests, and most shooters use the same 2-3 type/brand of ammo/heads. They do not hold a selection of many different types, brands, etc.

Yes you can purchase HPS target ammunition in box's of 50 for just over €55.
They use MEN brass and Sierra bullets. Very good quality for off the shelf stuff, Jim Griffin always has some in stock in a variety of weights which you are entitled to purchase if you have the appropriate caliber liscence.
You cannot however purchase components as Ezridax has said.
