Lads this topic has come up numerous times before so to avoid multiple PMs to individual users i thought it best to add a note.

The buying, selling, trading, relocating, exchanging, giving of call birds is a sticky subject with no definite description that i can find in law. We have asked numerous organisations if they could clarify the legalities of trading/giving birds, and so far have no recevied a clear and precise Yes or No on the matter.

So to that end we have decided to play it safe, and not allow any trading/selling/buying/giving, etc of any call birds. There is no probelm discussing tips, advice, and ways of catching a bird, but as to all the above we need to protect ourselves from actions that, while accidental, could be in breach of the law.

Anyone that wishes to discuss this further can contact any of the mods via PM.
