Do you have a Tesco web link that shows Tiger as I bought the deal today, when I got home they have messed up the deal and not put something in somewhere, the off licence guy said it was in the deal but he was only putting up the yellow signs....

Can anyone please advise how the hell they arrived at this, I cannot work it out to save my life.....
The total of the above is €57.86 - the total should be €30.00, multibuy savings should be €27.86 instead they've credited me €15.83

So say I take tiger beer, cheaper Ice Cream, DVD and Pizza
That's 10.99 + 2.49 + 10.00 + 4.85 = 28.33
Minus the credit - of 15.83 = the offer cost 12.50 ??
Say I take tiger beer, dearer Ice Cream, DVD and Pizza
That's 10.99 + 4.99 + 10.00 + 2.85 = 30.83
Minus the credit of 15.83 = the offer cost 15.00
So what the heck is going on?

These deals will only work if the correct items are scanned. As one of the ice creams (incorrectly) scanned at a lower price than 4.99, it invalidates the whole multi-buy so you won't get the total to round to €15.00 or €30.00 in this case. I wouldn't be too worried/concerned about trying to work out your discount when an incorrect entry (the 2.49) is added into the mix as it simply won't work.
The scanner sees the offer as a set off variables, it doesn't have the ability to recognise anything other than that. So, thinking back to your maths days in school and
A+B+C+D = 15.00
Whereas if you change one of those in any way you get
A+B+C+e = computer says no.
Bring it back and they'll refund you alright, but I doubt you have a chance of getting double the difference on this as they'll likely say you weren't overcharged as you didn't fulfill the offer properly.0 -

So the total is €57.80, I should have been charged €30.00
They gave me a credit of €15.83
So is my refund then 57.80-30.00-15.83 = 11.97 or.....? I'm flamin confused

You need to sort out the Ice cream situation with them, maybe bring them back in? Either one of the icecreams didnt scan properly or is not on the deal

Unless you went back to the shop already, credit is the wrong word, it should be discount.
You tried to buy the deal twice: Total Before Discount: €57.80
If everything went well you should have paid: Total after Discount: €30
So your discount should have been: €27.80
BUT
Something went wrong (as another poster said there is something strange about the ice creams).
You only got the deal once, the other one didnt count for some reason.
So you only got 1 discount of €15.830 -
