    ??

    Tackles has all the responsibility.
Trimble went for the tackle and accidentally hit him head to head.
Thats trimbles fault accident or not.

Accidental clash of heads or not...trimble should be carded for that.
He went at the ball carrier and took him out whether intentional or not.

You contradicted yourself there...it was an accident jones put the head down as trimble was making the tackle

Isn't it great to see young men coming in and giving it a real go. POM has been solid but Ryan has been immense.

Ryan has just carried in the form he's had all season. Should have been there from the very start in DOC's place.

    High tackles are usually accidental.
People dont aim high they just rise up yet its still a penalty.

Disagree on the ducking down but will look at it when I see it again

Afraid not, he went to wrap his arms around and Jones turned into him.

    Look at it this way.

As the person attempting to make the tackle you must not endanger the ball carrier.

In my opinion Trimble has accidentally made head to head contact and as such should be penalised. Accidents are not exempt from the laws.

The Beeb saying Jones is 'alert' now thank god

POM was great today. He still has stuff to work on but its clear that he will be a very good player in future.

Imagine if Sean OBrien hadn't been injured, the guy wouldnt have started for Ireland for god knows how long (especially with Wally back).

On another note, I'm so fed up of watching this pathetically conservative excuse for a rugby team. ."Leading after 50 minutes at home? Stop playing rugby and sit on the lead..." Thank god I didn't waste my money flying home for this rubbish.

Agree to disagree. No wrap in my opinion.

Yeah, it was great, we should kick it more often, works great

To echo what the commentators just said, Healy has been immense today, will be a serious player for us for the next decade

Only worry I have is his binding.
A lot of the scrums his hand goes down and if he starts getting pinged for it he will be in trouble.

    Great scrum. Penalty to us.

Yep, just when we started to put some moves together he emptied the bench.

Has DOC made one positive contribution to today's game?

I'm embarrassed that with 25 minutes to go and an 8 point lead at home against a team that hasn't won a game this year we decide to get into our shells and try soak up the game instead of pushing on and putting them in their place.
