I know what you mean. I wouldn't dream of paying to enter a H2H. As you said way too much luck involved.

Only possible exception would be if there were a very small number of entrants where the same teams would play each other 5 or 6 times a season. In that scenario you'd have the feel of a H2H while also giving the better players greater opportunity to come out on top.

Looks like my time in this is over. I'm sitting on 52 with Maverick on 54. He has Dempsey (c) while I have RVP. Very similar teams, only some weird combination of Baines/Bale/RVP bonus will save me a.k.a. not a chance.

It's going to be so tight. I think worst case scenario for me would be a draw which could happen if Baines get's 3 BP's and Bale gets 1, then Dempsey got 2 that would put us level. Don't know what would happen then, i assume it would go to overall rank?
Good high scoring game though. Both of us have had a good week.

Yeah, I got the highest score in pretty much all my mini leagues. Had it in my head that I must be miles ahead in this cup too only to log in and see you had me beat! :mad: Ah well, all those lovely green arrows will help ease my pain! Dempsey will definitely get the 3 bps though, so well done!

Well Clint had a load of shots off target so he's not guaranteed the 3 BP's. I'm gone top of my mini-league again this week so i'll be pleased whatever happens

I've a 14 point lead at the moment with another 1 to come off the bench. I'm also expecting the three BPs for Cisse.

We both have Rooney, Evans and Young left. He has Young as captain though. If Young plays a stormer then it'll be very close. 3 assists is all I'm allowing him to get tomorrow.

I think it goes to whoever made the least transfers in the week but not sure if that just means the number of actual transfers or if it means whoever took the least points hits or whatever! I made two last week but didn't take a point hit (I had two free transfers). Don't know what way that works, I guess KevIRL can clear this one up. After that, the
Person who got the least amount of points from their captain goes through.

By the way, only 1 bonus point for Dempsey is ridiculous!!

- The person with the lower number of transfers this gameweek, then
- The person with the lower scoring captain this gameweek
- Drawing of lots via random.org

I'd be willing to run one just after xmas next year. Would use tables in the game though and the first round would be a champions league style group phase running over six gameweeks.

The knockout stages would be mini leagues run over a 2 gameweek period
